Biggest disappointment: no Chandler Massey!?!?! Did he not submit?

Casey Moss didn’t submit this year ): He was owed an Emmy for last year. Only 8 actors submitted in Younger Actor – not sure if that means 4 will be nominated? Only 3 deserve to be from that list.

Strange ones: Linsey Godfrey as Sarah Horton? Seriously? Aaron D Spears as Justin Barber?

For Best Actress, I would nominate: Sharon Case, Eileen Davidson, Amelia Heinle, Marci Miller and Maura West (winner)

For Best Actor, I would nominate: Eric Braeden, Tyler Christopher, Billy Flynn, Drake Hogestyn and Jon Lindstrom (winner)

For Best Supporting Actress (disappointed no Marla Adams), I would nominate: Kassie DePaiva, Camryn Grimes, Martha Madison, Beth Maitland, Mishael Morgan, and Kirsten Storms (winner)

For Best Supporting Actor, I would nominate: Darin Brooks, Thad Luckinbill, Eric Martsolf, Wesley Ramsey and Christopher Sean (winner)

For Younger Actress, I would nominate: Hayley Erin, Olivia Rose Keegan, Victoria Konefal, Chloe Lanier (winner), and Eden McCoy

I would only nominate 3 for Younger Actor: Lucas Adams, William Lipton and Garen Stitt (winner)

The big surprise omissions to me:
    – No Chandler Massey or Don Diamond in Lead Actor
    – No Gina Tognoni in Lead Actress
    – No Chad Duell or Greg Vaughan in Supporting Actor
    – No Marla Adams or Judi Evans in Supporting Actress

For Best Actress, I would nominate: Eileen Davidson, Amelia Heinle, Jacqueline Macinnes Wood, Marci Miller and Maura West (winner)

For Best Actor, I would nominate: Peter Bergman, Scott Clifton, Tyler Christopher (winner), Jon Lindstrom, and Jason Thompson

For Best Supporting Actress, I would nominate: Kassie DePaiva, Beth Maitland (winner), Mishael Morgan, Kirsten Storms, and Vernee Watson

For Best Supporting Actor, I would nominate: Darin Brooks, Max Gail (winner), Bryton James, Thad Luckinbill, and Christopher Sean

For Younger Actress, I would nominate: Hayley Erin, Cait Fairbanks, Olivia Rose Keegan, Victoria Konefal, and Chloe Lanier (winner)

For Younger Actor: Lucas Adams and Tristan Lake Leabu (winner) would be it for me

Looks like what happened with Guest Performer is that this is the list of everyone who submitted and my favorites simply chose not to submit or submitted in supporting (Martha Madison clearly did). No Alison Sweeney, or Jen Lilley, or Stacey Haiduk makes me think they just didn’t submit. Same with Casey Moss, who clearly didn’t submit for Younger Actor ): (He so should have won last year).

GH and Y&R got 20 pre-nominations; Days got 19; and B&B got 13, but five of them were in Guest Performer, and only 5 were in the competitive categories (Actor, Actress, Supporting Actor and Supporting Actress).

I have the feeling there will be some truly awful nominees this year ): But that lead actress lineup is stellar!

I’m here for the guest performer categories. I suspect Wayne Brady wins, but, if voters keep with their pattern of rewarding character actors, I’d love to see Monica Horan finally join the rest of her Everybody Loves Raymond castmates as an Emmy winner. History could be made with a Cassandra James win, and in a gender neutral category too! And in the digital guest category, there is Anita Gillette the vet, Eric Roberts the Oscar nominee, Marina Sirtis for the trekkers, and so many 90s faves that I wonder which nostalgia wins out. I just hope none of them have an Emmy revoked like Patrika Darbo had happen last year!

Best Actress: Eileen Davidson, Amelia Heinle, Marci Miller, Michelle Stafford and Maura West

Best Supporting Actor: Max Gail, Bryton James, Thad Luckinbill, Eric Martsolf and Christopher Sean

Best Younger Actor: Lucas Adams, Tristan Lake Leabu, William Lipton and Garen Stitt

^maybe Ms. Banus didn’t submit? That’s always the problem, we never know if someone was snubbed or just didn’t submit.

    ^I suspect that he didn’t submit ): He usually doesn’t. He is, however, a Goldies nominee! (;

I can only hope that Chandler Massey didnt’ submit either.

Casey Moss, Alison Sweeney and Stacy Haiduk did not submit from DAYS.

Chandler Massey and Greg Vaughn were robbed on pre-nominations.

Drake Hogestyn prenom is so richely deserved….he did the best work of his career during the DNR story in the fall. He had some amazing scenes, especially with Martha Madison, who I suspect also submitted material from that story, as she ended up getting richely deserved Supporting Actress nom.

Lead actress is out of this world. A tough choice in picking five from that list. This is clearly the category to watch and should produce amazing reels. If they chose what I think, I believe it’s all about GH and Y&R.

    Stafford

    West

    Heinle

    Davidson

    Wright

Hughes deserves it more than Wright. I hate that they gave Anna a secret love child with Faison but Hughes acted the hell out of that story.

I wonder if NLG submitted. Alexis’ therapy scenes with Kevin trying to figure out her issues with men would have made a strong reel in lead or supporting. That coupled with her past prenom/nomination count makes me think she easily would have made the top 10 in either category. She probably opted to sit the year out to make room for Stafford and Hughes in lead.

I’m shocked Chandler Massey submitted and wasn’t pre-nommed. Do we know if he went lead or supporting?

I’m also surprised Kassie dePaiva dropped down to supporting. She’s been nominated in lead for this role before. I’m sure she submitted Eve and Brady’s non-wedding which was Lead Actress material. And she’s been submitting lead since 2002. But I still hope she makes the final ballot and wins her long overdue 1st Emmy.
