Josh never played Chris and Roman at the same time. He started playing Chris in 1977 and left in 1987. He started playing Roman in 1997. Parsons never played nurse Jackson and Mary at the same time.

she was so good at playing Frannie and Sabrina. What a lot of people tend to forget is that they weren’t twins. Frances ‘Frannie’ Hughes Crawford was the daughter of Bob Hughes and Jennifer Sullivan Ryan Hughes and Sabrina Fullerton Hughes Crowley was the daughter of Bob Hughes and Kim Sullivan Reynolds Dixon Stewart Andropolous Hughes so in reality they were half sisters and first cousins. I also like Mary Ellen Stuart’s version of Frannie and Claire Beckman’s version of Sabrina.

Hughes did good at playing Anna and Alex on AMC. Not so much on GH. When she played both roles on AMC I could tell who was who based off looks and personality on GH I can only tell who’s who based on personality and not looks. When Canary plays Adam and Stuart or when Ellen Wheeler/Anne Heche/Jensen Buchanan played Vicky and Marley I knew who was who based on looks alone. Martha Byrne is the perfect example of being good at playing two roles. They looked the same but dressed and talked and acted different.Lindstrom’s Ryan and Kevin look exactly alike there are times I have a hard time telling whom is whom like Hughes I can only tell based on personality.

I absolutely love Judi as Bonnie and Adrienne. Days did a good job of letting the viewers know who was who based off looks and personality. Adrienne was sweet and kind and generous and Bonnie is fiesty, fun, and full of excitement.
ReplyCopy URLSo many great examples cited above. Judi Evans as Bonnie and Adrienne is a favorite. I think the fact that the characters were developed totally independently of one another and then later acknowledged as look-alikes is what helped make that portrayal so successful.
And of course Eileen Davidson, who made whacky nutjob Susan a character who was actually sustainable and rooted.

Im so glad no writer has ever come up with the the idea to make Adrienne and Bonnie twins. It would totally mess things up.
