Farah Fath Back to DAYS!

Soap Opera Digest is reporting that Farah Fath is already back filming at DAYS and will return on screen later this year! I suppose I shouldn’t be too surprised, since Fath seemed to be a favorite of Ron’s over at OLTL, where she played Gigi Morasco. Mimi hasn’t been in Salem for over a decade now, and really has no strong connection to any character who is currently on screen, I guess except Chloe, with whom she was kind of frenemies. I’m guessing this may mean we’ll see her mother Bonnie (who had been calling Mimi for help shortly before disappearing last year), former BFF Belle, ex-husband Shawn, and/or accidental baby-daddy Philip. Or maybe they’ll bring back her and Philip’s baby, which was carried by a surrogate and eventually adopted by another family. Or maybe Jan Spears will come out of her coma! There are some interesting possibilities here.

I never thought she would work in daytime again! But I am very happen to hear about this happening; she is a terrific actress, even when given horrible material.

I was kind of into DOOL when Mimi was a big character so I hope this is a good return for her.

Wow, I didn’t expect to hear this. The teen group teen group of Mimi, Belle, Shawn, Chloe and Philip were the best back in the day. I hope we get to see them all together again.

That was a great teen set. I loved that Last Blast crew. Apparently, according to Farah’s twitter (@Farah_Galfond), the return is currently being called a handful of episodes.

Sounds like we’ll be getting an update on Bonnie’s whereabouts soon. I’d love for Judi Evans to get to play both roles regularly.

I really hope that this becomes a regular gig for her; and I would love to see Kyle Brandt return as Phillip. I used to watch the show semi-regularly when he was on and I liked him a lot.

While I did like Kyle Brandt a lot in the role, and I thought JPL had his moments, I think Jay Kenneth Johnson would really be the only Phillip worth bringing back. I don’t really see the character as having much a purpose on the show right now, but who knows what things might look like by the time Farah is airing.

Unfortunately, KB is on the NFL Network last I looked.

Judi Evans has been back on the show for a little while now playing both roles. At least for the last year that I know of.
