After being killed off last year as Silas, Michael Easton is returning to the GH fold. Executive Producer Frank Valentini made the announcement to kick off “Fan February”, posting a video of the duo at the supermarket in which Easton accepts Valentini’s offer to come back after the EP assures him that he’s got something good in store. “See ya in a couple weeks!” Easton tells Valentini. I am happy for Easton and glad to see him return. I hope they make him a viable long-term character, that is to say both a member of a classic core family (Quartermaine, Hardy, Webber) and a GH employee.

From what I understand this is for “Fan February” and will most likely be a one-off trick or stunt. It will probably be in some sort of fantsay sequence.    Fan February used to be a semi-big deal for ABC when they used to do special “fan requested” fantasy  segments; although some of the segments were hardly things fans wanted.

Yeah, if they think the fans want to see him back on the show, they should just bring him back as someone else.  I don’t see any good reason not to.  There’s still a fair amount of dead weight hanging around if they feel they need to make room.

According to ABC.com, Michael Easton will be playing an exciting new character, which leads me to believe the return isn’t short-term.
