This was one afternoon when the SOD GL Editor Melissa Scardaville got these two & a camera person & went round to a nearby diner & had an interview.

I’ve been having trouble believing that Lisa Brown is gone. I keep thinking she’s away on a project or something. I saw the Locher Room tribute to her last week, Sunday, and was thinking about her & the wonderful anecdotes that Martha Byrne had told & I re-watched the famous ‘raised pitchfork’ “Get your hands off of her; she’s your baby!” scene with MB & WF. And, I was finally feeling good about Lisa Brown RIP when the next day the news broke that JvD had passed. And, I was just sad all over again. But, enough about me. I have loved all of the statements from so many people. Learned from Scott McKinsey that Jerry was the union rep a part of the time at GL. In the SoapHub piece they finally mentioned that Jerry had a cancer battle that he won back in the day. And, I loved that Crystal Chappell & gang made Season 6 of Venicetheseries free for a few days. (Today is the last free day.) Michael O’Leary & Jerry play a pair of handymen & they play it as eccentric as characters can be & it is wet-your-pants funny. Michael Tylo, Lisa Brown, Jerry verDorn, 3 Doug Marland characters & Ross was created by the Dobsons, RIP May Light Perpetual Shine Upon Them.

Thanks for the heads up about Venice the series. I’ve never seen it before, but I watched the episodes Jerry was in. They were great!

I can chuckle just thinking about it! I think it’s poignant that while they were shooting that, that Jerry told Mikey (Michael O’Leary) that it would be the last thing that he would do. It made for an excellent swan song.
