I have not seen anything giving a date for the nominations.
GH was definitely the best soap last year, and the episodes surrounding Oscar’s death were incredibly well done. I would love to see the show do well with nominations.May 18, 2020 at 12:44 pm #1203488278
I don’t get why Nelle thinks it will help her to be married to Julian but that’s soap logic for you, it never makes any sense! (; Alexis learning about it was a nice touch and it’s always nice to see Diane.
Is Kristina still a lesbian or has that been dropped? Because Brando seems to be likely to be involved with all 4 of the Davis women! I assume Molly is pregnant, but we haven’t been told it yet. All the sparring between Sam and Brando makes me think they are going to eventually hit the sheets, and Alexis was giving off serious cougar vibes in today’s episode! (;
I liked Ava’s scenes today and how she stood up for herself! (:
I find Cyril Renault a dull villain – he isn’t (so far) connected to anyone on the canvas.
Why don’t they call Brad into court where he can finally tell the truth? That would make for excellent soap!
I wonder if we will get a verdict this week before the running out of episodes on Thursday?May 18, 2020 at 1:29 pm #1203488353
I think they identify Kristina as “fluid” not exclusively lesbian. I’m guessing Nelle got married to counter Michael marrying Willow and to rattle Sonny and Carly into doing something stupid? It is hilarious her sitting there in a wedding dress with Julian looking like he wants to vomit. Part of me hopes when they come back is they just do a time jump and we can clean up some of these really bad stories that I just couldn’t be bothered with.May 18, 2020 at 6:10 pm #1203488958
It was so crazy! Lol I mean the identity of who she married was supposed to be a big shocker so they were using the fact that it made no sense as some kind of cliffhanger when it’s idiotic!May 19, 2020 at 7:50 am #1203489701
Haha, yeah, when they made it a cliffhanger I thought that maybe she somehow leveraged Julian into getting her someone actually helpful to marry, but nope! I loved Diane saying that Nelle looks like a lunatic sitting there in that wedding dress. Honestly I have a hard time seeing how any of this works in Nelle’s favor, including the being late and having obviously just gotten married as a ploy. At least Michael and Willow had the decency to do it the night before. I’ve been hoping maybe Brad will be a surprise witness. I’m getting pretty tired of this whole thing with Nelle because she’s just done too much and now it should be time to pay the piper by having no chance in hell of winning this custody case. Julian is the second man she’s married in the last year, and he’s the less shady one! The fact that her assault on Willow and attempt to take Wiley didn’t land her back in prison was itself appalling. Hopefully they wrap this custody hearing before the episodes run out. (For someone who seemed so busy with cases, the judge sure does take a lot of breaks.)
The scenes with Brando and Alexis were great. The look she was giving him was hilarious, like she was ready to pounce. Brando is starting to grow on me. The Ava scenes were also great. I don’t want to see Sonny say another word of complaint about someone having dealings with Cyrus, for so many reasons. I agree, though, that Cyrus is pretty dull. He’s kind of just a boogeyman, not very interesting with no connections and no rooting value. And of course I loved seeing the kids all together and how their dynamic has changed since Trina and Cam have gotten closer while Joss and Dev were housebound.May 19, 2020 at 9:17 am #1203489822
Cyrus is Boring because so far he only kidnapped a lame character who is the son of another lame character.May 20, 2020 at 1:04 pm #1203492186
It’s clear that none of the stories will be resolved by tomorrow! Nelle will be on the stand, Mike looks to be at death’s door, looks like everything will be hanging for several months until new episodes are available!May 20, 2020 at 2:23 pm #1203492311
Which Freeman is why I want me a time jump! We can flash back to the end of some of these dragged out events. Show the aftermath of what I’m sure would have been a crap show of the painting unveiling (It IS a Wyndemere party!), and we can just skip past some of this blah stuff.May 20, 2020 at 3:54 pm #1203492455
A time jump could be very cool if they do it right. It makes sense that the storylines would be left in suspense because the last thing they shot was likely a Friday.May 20, 2020 at 10:00 pm #1203493001
It’s weird that they thought baseball would be going on but it isn’t and now all the talk about the Yankees is reminding you the season is postponed!May 21, 2020 at 4:11 am #1203493191
Today is the last new episode for at least a few months. Not sure how much ahead they film their episodes but perhaps they will do a quick turnaround once they get back to work! I have heard that B&B thinks it will start filming again next month, which seems strange to me with these phase ins of reopening states. Not sure where California is in their process but most non-essential businesses aren’t reopening until at least July here.
I found it amusing that Joss and Dev have been “housebound”! I also caught that reference to the Yankees! I assume the plan is to kill off Mike? Sure seems likely.
I will miss my GH fix!May 21, 2020 at 5:47 am #1203493231
If we are using the writers strike as a yardstick I think it took about 4 weeks for the regular writers material to begin airing but this should be quicker since the scripts should well be written and disbursed to the actors by now. So maybe 2-3 weeks?May 21, 2020 at 9:31 am #1203493531
I could see them getting it done even quicker, but 2-3 weeks seems like a safe estimate.
Yeah, I also thought the baseball talk was both funny and sad. I read that B&B thinks they can resume shooting next month, but also that some GH cast members have said they wouldn’t be back to filming before July at the earliest because Los Angeles is on lockdown until July 15. We’ll see.
It seems like this is the road they’ve been going down with Mike for quite a few months now, and I do think the character will die soon. Overall, the show has done a good job with Mike’s gradual but pretty steady decline over the last year or so, and it feels like everyone but Sonny sees and can accept that Mike’s time has come.May 21, 2020 at 6:25 pm #1203494380
The mayor babbled on for more than an hour and I missed today’s episode. I could look for it on dailymotion but in case I don’t get around to it how did they end things on their last new episode until they can get back into their studios to film more of them?May 21, 2020 at 10:41 pm #1203494747
It feels like a down beat to end with Nina about to take the stand. After testimony from Michael, Willow, Janelle, and Julian, Nina’s presence seems largely irrelevant. Also, Sam showing up for the sole purpose of telling off Julian was sort of annoying. Their relationship is not interesting to watch at all because there’s no back and forth. Her tolerance for him is always at 0 out of 10, and no matter how harmless or heinous his latest transgression is, she’s always peak pissed.
