I loved seeing Britt and Brad together again! (: I hope she sticks around but something tells me it will be just a guest stint…
Spencer is up to mischief with the election.
Nicely played scenes between Julian and Lucas (:
Awkward Chase was sorta fun.
I realize just how much I dislike Ned ):
I hate hate hate it when Michael forgets all about A.J. and claims Sonny is his dad – grrrr ):
Genie Francis & Laura forever!!!! (:November 7, 2018 at 3:38 pm #1202670560
Britt and Brad reuniting was wonderful! The only thing better was seeing Britt and Spencer reunite! I was annoyed to see it cut short by a special news report, especially since it was the second one today! I would really like to see Britt back full-time as a GH doctor.November 12, 2018 at 2:58 pm #1202673653
I wonder if Jon Lindstrom will submit for Emmy consideration in lead or supporting? (if he submits at all). I also wonder about Kirsten Storms; for me personally I see her as a lead but I wouldn’t be suprised if she submitted in supporting. I hope she submits and is nominated whichever category she is in.
I am looking forward to their getting back to storylines, and esp. want to see where they go with Ryan/Kevin & Laura.November 12, 2018 at 5:50 pm #1202673775
I think Jon Lindstrom will submit in Supporting– I think Kirsten Storms will as well.
Despite GH’s rough year, the acting has continued to be very strong. It’s a shame that they haven’t got the writing to back them up. I could see pre-nominations & possibly noms for:
Lead Actor: Roger Howarth, Billy Miller
Lead Actress: Maura West, Laura Wright (though I don’t think she deserves it), Michelle Stafford (if she submits here and not in supporting), and possibly Nancy Lee Grahn (though that one’s a stretch; she’s had a dry year).
Supporting Actor: Jon Lindstrom, Dominic Zamprogna, Donnell Turner
Supporting Actress: Kirsten Storms, Tamara Braun, Nancy Lee Grahn (I personally think she should submit here this year), and Michelle Stafford
Ultimately, GH actors (the lead actress ladies in particular) prove time and time again that they are the best on daytime, imo. It sucks that they’re all so good– I think it prevents any of them from winning because they all split the vote!

I have grown to love Chase, he is a wonderful addition to the show (: I love his awkwardness! (:
I also really love Peter. Wesley Ramsey is truly terrific! (:
Loved the Career Day presentations. Finn was hilarious!
The show has been mostly getting much better lately – I esp. like that there are a number of good stories and the show isn’t so focused only on a few characters, none of whom I enjoy, as it was for many years.
Interesting mention of Lucky today. Bring back Jonathan Jackson!!!! (:November 15, 2018 at 11:55 am #1202675754
<p style=”text-align: left;”>So Carly was warning Sonny about it all backfiring with Margeaux and now she’s antagonizing her? This is so STUPID!!! God why does she have to get so much time??</p>November 18, 2018 at 4:39 pm #1202677660
GH has been getting better, but it still lacks that snap, crackle, and pop that makes Days so much fun. With all of its loose story threads, GH is the least coherent of the four soaps and, honestly, I find a good bit of it boring. But I won’t complain because anything is better than returning to the early 2000s Guza model of storytelling.
The one really intriguing story is the return of Ryan. Jon Lindstrom is doing an outstanding job and his scenes with Maura West are especially compelling.
It’s great having Genie Francis and Finola Hughes back on the screen. Now they just need good stories.November 22, 2018 at 7:22 am #1202680261
Laura (Genie Francis) catching “Kevin” (actually Ryan) kissing Ava was a terrific cliffhanger! I wish she would wise up and realize something more is up… this is my favorite story on GH right now and I am looking forward to Laura finding out that he is Ryan, not Kevin!
For the most part I am really enjoying the show right now. I adore Peter and Maxie; Chase; Ava; Laura; Spencer (I think he may be leaving again – oh well, it’s always fun while it lasts); Oliver & Josslyn; and while I don’t love the story I am enjoying the acting of Parry Shen & Ryan Carnes immensely! It was great to see Monica interacting with Oliver too.November 22, 2018 at 8:08 am #1202680269
Mostly agreed Freeman although if we could get off Sonny and Carly for a few weeks that’d be GREAT!November 26, 2018 at 5:34 pm #1202682648
I cited Eden McCoy for her performance on today’s episode – she is a terrific young actress and her scenes with Oscar are favorites for me.
The look in Ryan’s eyes when Kiki opened the door – is she going to be his second victim? It was truly frightening. (Jon Lindstrom is doing such a great job as Ryan).
I blinked and missed that Kiki and Griffin made up and learned that Ava had set Griffin up…
Seeing Leslie Charleson as Monica always makes me happy! (but I miss the Q’s, especially Alan and Tracy).November 27, 2018 at 2:01 pm #1202683550
I as confused by the ending – was it Kiki or someone else? The speed in which Griffin and Kiki made up had me suspicious that the rumors of Kiki’s being Ryan’s next victim were true… guess I’ll have to tune in to find out…
Eden McCoy has had two terrific Emmy reel performances the past two days, which I hope she submits and gets her first Emmy nomination.November 27, 2018 at 4:59 pm #1202683703
The last two episodes of GH were very good. It’s been a while since I’ve said that, but I have to give credit when it is due.
The Monday Thanksgiving episode moved seamlessly from the Quartermaine’s to Carly’s house to Jordan and Curtis’s wedding. The movement in the story of Oscar’s illness unfolded beautifully and was well-acted. Brad’s nervousness reminded us that the story of baby Wiley is still brewing. Aunt Stella’s surprise appearance at the wedding was endearing. The appearance of Ryan at Kiki’s apartment added a macabre touch to the otherwise upbeat and sentimental episodes.
Though I still think there is much work to do in restructuring GH, these episodes provided a glimmer of hope for the unfolding of future storytelling. I will probably never get all the changes that are on my wish list, but I think the show is headed in the right direction. Now I just hope the ratings improve, lest TPTB misguidedly resort to the mob-centric model of storytelling.
Characters that I am enjoying the most right now: Laura, Ryan, Ava, Griffin, Kiki, Hamilton, Anna, Monica, Oscar, Joss, Spencer, Britt, Brad, Lucas. I would like to see Kelly Thiebaud return full-time, with the caveat that Britt resumes her work as a GH doctor.
At this point, I am neutral on the pairing of Peter and Maxie. I am also neutral on the character of Chase. But then I tend to be meh on characters who are not on the staff of GH. I would like to see a continuing and steady shift toward a greater percentage of contract actors portraying GH staffers. Laura and Anna are exempt, due to their combination of longevity and awesomeness.November 28, 2018 at 9:25 am #1202684099
Kiki’s death reminds me of Paige’s death on Days. A single mother with only one daughter is killed by a serial killer ): I grew to really love Kiki and her potrayer Hayley Erin. I know this will give great material to the amazing Maura West but I never like it when they do this. Older actors/actresses need their “children” to interact with in the long-term (remember when Holly’s son died? I knew that would be the beginning of the end for Maureen Garrett). That fate won’t happen to Maura, she’s too good and too big a star for it, but I still don’t like it. They could have sent Kiki away and had her come back as a recast (or brought back Kirsten Alderson).
