This show is going from bad to worse! With only four shows I feel disloyal if I don’t watch the remaining shows on the air but they sure make it difficult for me to want to do so! However, this is a show that can turn on a dime – be horrible for awhile and then suddenly it’s great again so who knows?February 22, 2018 at 9:25 am #1202498836
Is Courtney Hope’s exit her choice or the show’s? The Sally/Thomas stuff was a really fun part of early 2017, but it didn’t last.
B&B is a show that really always feels a pull to go back to basics, focusing on things like Brooke and Ridge getting remarried, even though, in my opinion, the relationship really doesn’t work with Thorsten Kaye’s Ridge. I have yet to even see Ingo Rademacher as Thorne, but for a show that is so tied to repeating its own stories and reliving its own history, it feels especially insulting how they dumped Windsor Harmon to get someone else to play the role (albeit an appealing actor with a popular following).
I haven’t seen one thing that makes me even curious to check back into the show lately.March 7, 2018 at 4:55 pm #1202509234
So Bill has been shot. I read that someone was going to be murdered but I have read nothing indicating that Don Diamont is leaving the show so I don’t know where this is going. Bill was clearly going to be the victim. My bets are on Sheila having shot him. The show has been better the past several episodes because there has been real suspense.March 8, 2018 at 5:51 pm #1202510105
The bill getting shot buildup was so good. So many good motives. Not recent motives either but long gestating hatreds. Then Katie discovering bill shot- great work from Tom!March 8, 2018 at 6:46 pm #1202510122
I read a few weeks ago there was going to be a murder – not an attempted murder – so I am wondering if Don Diamont is leaving the show? Or was it misleading? I think Sheila did it; remember you heard it here first! (: The show has rebounded the past week and a half with excellent episodes…May 4, 2018 at 9:07 am #1202540522
Nobody has posted since 2/19… I am not really enjoying any of the storylines lately; the actors are always interesting even with lesser material to act. Wyatt has been really obnoxious lately and Bill completely insufferable.
I read that Jacob Young has been taken off contract.May 4, 2018 at 10:41 am #1202540546
There have been some pretty interesting behind-the-scenes happenings. Jacob Young being taken off contract; Courtney Hope being let go and them almost immediately rehired; and the hiring of Adain Bradley to play Julius’s nephew. But nothing I’ve seen or read has made me interested in what’s happening on screen.May 7, 2018 at 4:09 pm #1202542953

Agreed. I get a recap of B&B every few days from my 82-year-old mother. And nothing she says makes me want to start watching again. She is very dissatisfied with the show, particularly the speed with which the characters fall in and out of love, but she hasn’t stopped watching.
I can’t believe they let go of Jacob Young. This does not bode well for Karla Mosley, who already gets very little air time.July 4, 2018 at 3:54 pm #1202579375
So Liam just had a baby with Steffy and now Hope is pregnant. This reminds me a bit of Santa Barbara when Julia and Victoria (was that her name?) were both pregnant by Mason, although that was a bit more drastic in terms of the timing. This story has the potential for endless conflict. The only drawback is that I find Hope rather uninteresting.
I had to laugh at the dramatic finale, where Hope announces her pregnancy with fireworks in the background. Nice touch.
Wyatt and Sally are cute.
Wow, it has been two months since my last comment and no one has posted all this time. B&B is definitely lacking in buzz.July 5, 2018 at 4:12 am #1202579550
Every time I watch the show i get bored with it after a few minutes. I have only made it all the way through a few episodes here and there. The new Hope needs to be replaced. Bill needs to get punished for all of his crimes (honestly, I think it’s time to say goodbye to him as a character on this show). Liam is so incredibly wishy-washy. Quinn has been defanged and is uninteresting as a result. None of the stories matter to me. This show has often for me been one that bounces back in a hurry and very suddenly without warning so who knows? I find the focus of the show is on the wrong characters (speaking of which: please bring back Lesli Kay!).August 2, 2018 at 4:14 am #1202601169
Nobody has been posting in the B&B thread lately! I know the reason I haven’t been watching the show very much can be summed up in one word: BILL! I am so tired of his always winning ): I can tell they are going to have him “win” Steffy fairly soon (albeit temporarily). I dislike the constant focus on wishy-washy Liam and the criminal monster Bill. Every time I try to watch it’s scenes of Ridge and Brooke bickering over which of their daughters should be with wishy-washy Liam, or Bill declaring his undying love for Steffy, or Liam doing his wishy-washy trying to love two women routine. Blah! Blech!
Meanwhile a defanged Quinn is unfortunately dull ): so many of the characters are so far onto the back-burner it’s hard to remember they are on the show. I get bored after only a few minutes and haven’t made it all the way through an episode in quite some time ):August 2, 2018 at 8:55 am #1202601288
I dislike Ridge, Bill and Liam too much to even think about tuning into the show these days.
In positive news, Ashley Jones will soon be making a return as Bridget, so that’s cool.August 6, 2018 at 7:15 pm #1202604171
B&B has been focused almost exclusively on Hope/Liam/Steffy and I find it very boring. I was glad Steffy chose to be alone. Liam is very wishy-washy and needs to grow up.
It’s nice that Sally is back (although she has not appeared on screen for the last week and a half). But I just can’t get over the fact that she let Bill get away with all his misdeeds. Why has she not hired an attorney? It just makes zero sense (yes, another thing I cannot get over). Also, I really miss the Spectra crew. They were fun, and we need more fun on daytime.
Usually, I do not like it when new characters are thrust to the forefront, but I am actually enjoying Emma/Xander/Zoe a lot more than any other part of the show. In particular, I find Kiara Barnes (Zoe) very engaging.August 6, 2018 at 7:24 pm #1202604186
Did Steffy choose to be alone or is Bill blackmailing her? I haven’t been watching much so I was surprised when I saw that scene – and that she is giving her wedding ring to dopey Hopey.
I have been finding the show unbearable lately and each time I think I will make it through a complete episode I don’t!
