    Robin Strasser’s first air date has been announced: September 3, 2019! So excited! She will be playing Vivian Alamain and I have read she will appear in 15 episodes.

    I don’t know if it is related or not but Dr. Rolf will also be returning. No air date for his return.

    I was pretty bored with the four episodes I watched this week. I missed Wednesday’s episode, which was disappointing since Adrienne (Judi Evans) made a rare appearance and gave Eve some much deserved hell! (:

    However any show where we get to see Paul Telfer (Zander) without his shirt on isn’t entirely dull! (;

    I keep chuckling at the whole sequence where Ciara and Ben hide under the bed while Kate tries to convince “Nicole” to join forces with her against Kristen. Particularly, when Ben tells Kate that they’re on assignment from Stefan, she asks, “Oh really? Stefan assigned you and your girlfriend to be under Nicole’s bed?” I’m not sure why it was so funny, but it made me laugh almost as much as the line a few months ago where Claire claimed to have taken the “express ferry” to Smith Island, hilarious nonsense.

    I’m excited for Robin Strasser to start, and to see her take on Vivian. DAYS better start moving those background photos of Louise Sorel out of the DiMera Mansion set! I’m also excited for what looks to be an exciting party for Marlena and John this week.

    I am disappointed that Nicole isn’t back for the big reveal ): This was sloppy writing imo, a very poor decision ):

    I am glad though that Susan will be back this week. Stacey Haiduk is great as Susan and if that was her only role I would be much happier with her, but she really isn’t good as Kristen. It’s a real head scratcher!

    I wonder if there will be any sendoff for Lucas Adams’s Tripp? I suspect we will just get him saying goodbye to Kayla and that’s it. It’s happening sometime this week or next. I will miss him.

    Zander should do all of his scenes with his shirt off!

    I have read that Casey Moss and the actress who plays Haley are both leaving the show. They film so far ahead I don’t know when exactly their last air date will be. I will miss Casey’s J.J. He has won 3 Goldies and was robbed of an Emmy award during his run. J.J. started out surly and obnoxious and became a good guy over time. (of course they could recast the role in the future or Casey could return to the role too).

    Dr. Rolf will be back the same day as Vivian so I assume they will come back together. I also read that the real Nicole will be returning – I am hoping it will be during the anniversary party reveal, which I think is this week.

    We have a new name for Sonny and Will! “The Hardy Boys”! (;

    Looking forward to the anniversary party episodes! (:

    I was laughing so hard at the end of today’s show! It’s just so absurd! (: They directed the scene really well, and all the looks on everybody’s faces and the great montage while John was figuring it all out! It seemed like a Friday cliff-hanger but I am glad it’s a Thursday so they can get back to it tomorrow (Susan better be o.k.!). btw, Stacey Haiduk is great as Susan! She really nails her character perfectly – but not Kristen.

    Today’s episode was exceptionally good! the big reveal about Nicole rally being Kristen paid off. Her holding Marlena hostage and Susan saving the day! Eric and Brady both shocked by the development. Everybody was great and the direction and writing were top-notch! And say what you will about Stacey Haiduk’s Kristen she did deliver today. (and I always love her as Susan, who was the MVP of the episode).

    Southern Eve is presumably leaving the show as well. Time for Y&R to snap Kassie up and give her an original role. No more recast roles for her please!

    Not looking forward to Robin Strasser’s scenery chewing as Vivian! Elizabeth Hubbard would’ve been a better fit for a short-term run in the role. Imagine her sharing scenes with John Aniston.

    I have been saying for months that Holly is with Nicole!

    I actually felt badly for Zander, who has committed major crimes and hurt so many people, but I can’t help it – Paul Telfer plays him in a way that makes me sympathetic!

    Nicely paced episode today, with Suzanne Rogers giving a standout performance!

    Everyone in Salem keeps commenting about Tony and Kristen’s marriage but this is the second time they’ve been married. Jennifer was present at the first wedding.

    I just saw the fall 2019 promo, and I am going to assume that part of it, is like last years, where it has to be part of a fantasy Halloween episode. For 2 reasons, 1. It features Olivia Rose Keegan, and there’s been no word of a return, 2. the promo ends with a hand shooting out of a grave.

    Other thoughts on the promo, Robin Strasser does not have the Vivian Alamain look to her at all, hopefully once we see her in action…things will change.

    Actually I did see online about ORK returning but it didn’t say if it was for just a day or a guest stint or what?

    There is a rumor that along-term character is going to die. I predict: he or she will die, and Dr. Rolf will bring him or her back to life.

    IDK, I found the show a bit ridiculous on Friday! (:

    So yes I had heard that Julie is going to die. Who else thinks it will be a short-lived death? (;

    Robin Strasser’s Vivian had me laughing so hard today and Bill Hayes had me crying. Very good episode!

    I don’t know who Robin is playing but it sure ain’t Vivian!

    Louise’s picture was just on the mantel on Friday’s episode.

    From that promo, I’m curious to see what that never been done twist will be!

    She has somewhat the mannerisms of Louise Sorel’s Vivian, but the look is off and She just isn’t Louise. Good thing this is only a guest stint.
