It’s possible that Marla Adams didn’t submit? I was hoping she would get an Emmy for her work this year too. The only good thing is now I can fully support Kirsten Storms winning the Emmy.
I really hope that Sharon Case gets nominated this year.January 25, 2019 at 11:27 am #1202748265
I also hope Sharon Case gets nominated. She’s so underrated. I always feel like she’s good day in and out (regardless if I like what Sharon’s up to).January 29, 2019 at 7:01 pm #1202754925
Today’s episode was pre-empted for a long boring press conference with Tom Brady, the New England Patriots quarterback ): Did anything interesting happen? Yesterday the 4 women told Nick the truth about what happened to J.T., the only story that matters to me at the moment! Any progress today?January 30, 2019 at 7:44 am #1202755295

Seriously?!? I haven’t watched a full episode of Y&R in a long time. If I happen to be home when it’s on, I normally watch 5 minutes and get bored with it. I can’t imagine them cutting into the show for Tom Brady.February 3, 2019 at 5:27 am #1202759936
I am really only enjoying one storyline and the rest bore me no end ): Perhaps when Mal Young’s stories are over they will get better storylines that will hold my interest. I just want to see how the J.T. murder (unless he is still alive, which to me would be cheating of the worst kind) story plays out and is the only reason I watch at all right now. So much of the show is boring ):February 6, 2019 at 2:19 pm #1202763439
I read that Friday’s episode will be a tribute to Kristoff St John. Not sure if it will similar to the tribute they did when Jeanne Cooper passed away or not. My guess is it will be filled with clips from the past 27 years he was on the show.February 6, 2019 at 3:27 pm #1202763505

Thank you for the heads up. I barely watch the show any more, but I’ll want to tune in on Friday. I’m still shocked that he passed.
I wonder what Y&R will do? Have Neil pass away off screen or recast? IF Y&R does have Neil pass away, I hope Shemar Moore will come back as Malcolm for a few eppys.February 6, 2019 at 4:43 pm #1202763561

Surprised they had all four of the women arrested, and then of course Phyllis saved her own skin and threw the rest of them under bus. I can’t believe that Nick will be o.k. with her actions. I am just relieved the “spoiler” I heard months ago that Paul’s return was going to be that he was the one blackmailing them and he would hold Nikki at gunpoint proved to be a false rumor rather than a legitimate spoiler.
I still think Abby mistakenly harmed Lola thinking it was Mia… Michael Mealor’s Kyle has been excellent lately. Still, I don’t like this new family and would like for them all to just go away!February 22, 2019 at 12:14 pm #1202785227
That new family, the Rosales, on The Young and the Restless may not last for, say, three or more years. They are poorly created and developed. The problem is that they were not introduced and integrated properly. A soap that does this will fail with nearly all or all of those characters. That is a shame.February 25, 2019 at 7:57 am #1202793604
Yes, after Kristoff St. John died, I wanted to see his most recent on-screen appearance. I started watching back to my recorded episodes, and I went through about a week’s worth before getting to Neil. In the meantime, almost every episode heavily featured actors I had not seen on the show before, and I watched the show up until around August last year. It was incredibly jarring. And it is a shame, because one of the things I found that Y&R was sorely lacking was characters who aren’t rich and have some typical real world struggles and limits. But throwing all of these people into heavy rotation at once is just not smart.March 5, 2019 at 4:46 am #1202804419
If what I have read is correct J.T. is still alive. ): I am not happy about this at all. How was it that the writing for the show was so great at the beginning of last year and then got so terrible thereafter? The show has been hard to watch lately, both of the CBS soaps have been difficult to like lately ): It can turn around, of course, bringing back Paul is a good start, get back to the already existing core families, give Michael Baldwin a strong storyline, bring back Kevin Fisher and Gloria too. I’ve heard that Traci is coming back, Ashley will be “visiting” (for Neil’s funeral?). I want a strong story for Dina, I miss her terribly! (but Ashley really needs to be a part of it).March 13, 2019 at 4:32 am #1202814755
Parts of the trial have been good but I am so sick of Phyllis and Summer, this whole marriage between Kyle and Summer is ridiculous, Rey and Mia practically taking over the show has me resentful… I did enjoy Christine, Michael and the other lawyer during the courtroom scenes. I hope the rumor I have read about the verdict is wrong – the only way it can be overturned if it is correct is for J.T. to be alive but I don’t like that turn of the events either. Glad that Mal Young reign of terror over the show is almost over! Paul’s return is coming up. Now how about Kevin and Gloria and stories for the Baldwin/Fisher clan?

Paul was in the video clip for next week’s schedule. I’m so excited that he’s returning!
I read that Shemar Moore is returning to play Malcolm. Can’t remember the site ( not sure how reliable it is), but I do hope he returns. Obviously, it would be for a short term.March 21, 2019 at 1:58 am #1202824029
Anybody else as shocked as I was by Y&R’s poor showing with this year’s Emmy nominations? Only 5 acting nominees. Usually it gets the most of any of the remaining shows. No Best Actress nominee, and only nominated in 4 of the 7 acting categories!
J.T. being alive is inane; I’ve grown tired of nobody ever really being dead on soaps. Two different soaps had people get conked over the head and wrapped in a heavy rug and in one case buried and they live? (Leo on Days is the other one). How come death is only permanent to characters who are much needed? I’m thinking of A.J. and Alan Quartermaine specifically! (;
I also don’t get how this frees the women? They are still guilty of lesser crimes than murder but of course life will go on for them (no way is Sharon guilty of anything but being at the wrong place at the wrong time).
