After a quick google search (LOL), Adam slept with Rafe (off screen). He was tormenting Ashley (not sure why) into thinking the ghost of Sabrina (Victor’s deceased wife) wanted her gone. Rafe was becoming suspicious of his activities, so Adam slept with him.April 15, 2021 at 4:15 pm #1204202998
I really like the casting of Jacob Aaron Gaines as Mosses. He reminds me of a mini Neil😁.April 16, 2021 at 7:26 am #1204203598

Oh, was it Rafe, not Raul? I remember the actor (he showed up on Pretty Little Liars shortly after this), but I forgot the character name. I also didn’t remember the specifics of why it happened other than that Adam was getting caught doing something and slept with Rafe to keep him quiet. When was this, 2009 maybe? It was that first actor they had playing adult AdamApril 16, 2021 at 7:30 am #1204203609
^His name was Raul. It was when Michael Muhney came on to the show – the actor who had played Adam briefly (the blond Adam) before that got fired because he had refused to play the gay scenes and btw there was an “afterglow” scene with them in bed together – but then they dropped it immediately.April 16, 2021 at 7:57 am #1204203641
But Raul is the name of David Lago’s character, right? And we’re talking about the guy who worked (I think) in the DA’s office? As you can tell, I do not remember this very clearly. I think I dropped off watching the show not long after Michael Muhney came on. I did remember the previous actor being fired, but I didn’t remember the reason. I thought he’d done something worse, but I’m probably thinking of Michael Muhney and his inappropriate behavior toward Hunter King.April 16, 2021 at 9:19 am #1204203771
Maybe it was Rafe and not Raul? It was 10 years ago or so! I was friends at the time with Thom Bierdz, who played Philip, and he was hoping he would have a romantic storyline with the gay lawyer (Rafe or Raul?). You are right: David Lago’s character was named Raul but I guess there could have been two characters with the same name as Lago was gone by then for 6 years…April 22, 2021 at 7:33 am #1204214879
I wish they would get back to the Adam/Chelsea/Sharon/Rey storyline – it’s the only one that is truly capturing my interest.
I will explain why I don’t like the Faith recast: she lacks Alyvia’s vulnerability and sweetness. This Faith could easily be a mean girl and that’s not what I want where Faith is concerned. Maybe she will show more vulnerability and sweetness in time but I don’t think it’s in the temperament of this particular actress.April 26, 2021 at 12:16 pm #1204229751
I find myself bored and restless once again as they have moved away from the two stories I have been enjoying too much – Faith’s bullying story has pretty much ended and Alyvia Alyn Lind has left the show; and they gave Mark Grossman and Melissa Clare Egan the past week off so there hasn’t been any progress on the Adam/Chelsea/Sharon/Rey storyline (I haven’t seen today’s episode yet so they may have gotten back to it? But last week they took a break from the story). The business stories on the show bore me silly and they have been concentrating mostly on those stories.
I am wondering if anybody remembers what happened to Nikki’s multiple sclerosis storyline? Was she cured or was it decided she had an incredibly mild form of m.s.??? I ask because I was so excited by it because my best friend had m.s. (she died last June after having m.s. for 30 years – she was still relatively young). I was excited for the storyline potential and since someone can have m.s. for decades it wasn’t a death sentence for Nikki’s character – it would have given her something to really act! But I don’t remember how it was resolved or is it that she still has it but it’s never mentioned???April 28, 2021 at 6:02 pm #1204234161
Sorry to hear about your friend passing away from m.s.
As for Nikki’s ms storyline, I’m thinking the writers forgot about it. I haven’t watched Y&R very much this past year so I don’t know if Nikki was miraculously cured or what happened. Michael used to have prostrate cancer (I was enjoying the storyline) and then it was never mentioned again. I thought Jill was having heart problems and then she went off screen and we never hear about her very much.
My point is that Y&R characters seem to have illnesses (normally good stories) and then they’re either cured or their illnesses are never talked about again.April 29, 2021 at 3:15 pm #1204235409
I was not expecting this plot twist with Faith being really sick with the potential for kidney failure. It will be interesting to see where they go with this… anything that gives Sharon Case a chance to act her heart out will likely be good, at least as far as her performances are concerned.
But oy! I am so BORED with everything else on the show besides Sharon’s two storylines – the other one being the Sharon/Adam/Chelsea/Rey story. They are really wasting the talents of their cast with all this dreck, and I for one just don’t find all the business rivalries compelling ):May 4, 2021 at 10:36 am #1204242303
Today’s episode of Y&R was an exceptionally strong one! Really great scenes between Sharon and Rey and also between Adam and Nick! Even the other scenes with Nikki and Victoria and then Victoria and Billy were really good. When they stay away from all those boring business storylines the show is stronger.
If Sharon Case doesn’t get an Emmy nomination for her work in 2021 there ain’t no justice!!!!May 5, 2021 at 10:43 am #1204243637
Today’s episode was superb!!!! Sharon and Rey, Sharon and Nikki – particularly loved that Nikki prefers her to Phyllis, Adam and Nick, Victor’s ultimatum to Chelsea, Rey’s stopping by Chelsea and Chloe’s table, even sweet Moses and Faith – none of the dull stories and dull characters were on today! I am looking forward to these storylines being at the center of the show!
