    Series: Young & the Restless
    Actor: Maurice Bernard, General Hospital
    Actress: Maura West, General Hospital
Supporting Actor: Max Gail, General Hospital
Supporting Actress: Mishael Morgan, The Young and the Restless
Younger Actor: Lucas Adams, Days Of Our Lives
Younger Actress: Chloe Lanier, General Hospital
Guest Performer: Kate Mansi, Days Of Our lives
    Directing; General Hospital
    Writing: Days Of Our Lives

I also predict that Sheryl Underwood will make at least 3 tacky “jokes” about sexually assaulting Mario Lopez and there will be an opening number that looks like it came from a high school theater camp.

Does anybody know who will be hosting the red carpet show this year? Just wondered if they might get somebody GOOD like Martha Madison to do it, or continue with the usual awful one, which is Carolyn Hennesy?

    Carolyn Hennessy is hosting.

I really think B&B is gonna win something tonight.

Damn. She’s really annoying and awkward, and she mainly only focuses on interviewing mainly ppl only from her own show, and throws in a couple of nominees. I think B&B is taking home guest performer.

This is a hard Emmy’s to predict. I spent a week and a half watching all the episodes submitted online and it’s gonna be hard to say who’s gonna win.

Drama: GH, Y&R, or Days could take it. B&B could win best Directing for what they picked for best show.

Lead Actor: As much i enjoyed Jon’s tapes he might win next year. I’m stuck on Tyler’s and Peters tapes.

Lead Actress: Maura, Marci, or Heather is gonna win. Hell Jacqueline might even win.

Supporting Actor: I liked Max Gail’s but Bryton and Eric turned in great performances. I would rather Bryton win though.

Supporting Actress: This is Kassies to lose. She gave a wonderful performance of a woman who got played and a revengeful mother. If she doesn’t win it’ll be Mishael or Beth.

Younger Actor: I liked Garren and William and Kyler’s but Lucas’ tapes were straight to the point. If he loses I’ll be disappointed.

Younger Actress: Chloe might win (idk as of yet) but Victoria and Haley’s were good. I also enjoyed Olivia’s.

Writing: I’mma go with Days or Y&R

Directing: I’m not sure but I’ll say either GH or Y&R

Guest performance: Kate Mansi all the way.

Congrats to Y&R and The Talk on all their much-deserved Creative Arts wins! Thrilled that DAYS won for best music composition/direction and the team from B&B for best original song (the latter in part makes up for B&B‘s inexplicable snub of a music composition/direction nomination).

Here, my gutsy final predix! Especially for categories like Supporting Actress, Younger Actress, Guest Performer or Drama Series, the races are just too close to call, so I’m not very confident in who I’ve picked as the likely winners.

    DRAMA SERIES:
    Will win: DAYS
    Should win: B&B
    Dark Horse: GH

    WRITING:
    Will win: Y&R
    Should win: B&B / DAYS
    Dark Horse: GH

    DIRECTING:
    Will win: Y&R
    Should win: B&B
    Dark Horse: DAYS

    LEAD ACTOR:
    Will win: Peter Bergman, Y&R
    Should win: Peter Bergman
    Dark Horse: Maurice Benard, GH

    LEAD ACTRESS:
    Will win: Maura West, GH
Should win: Jacqueline MacInnes Wood / Heather Tom, B&B
    Dark Horse: Marci Miller, DAYS

    SUPPORTING ACTOR:
    Will win: Max Gail, GH
    Should win: Max Gail
    Dark Horse: Eric Martsolf, DAYS

    SUPPORTING ACTRESS:
    Will win: Beth Maitland, Y&R
    Should win: Beth Maitland
    Dark Horse: Kassie DePaiva, DAYS

    YOUNGER ACTOR:
    Will win: Lucas Adams, DAYS
    Should win: Garren Stitt, GH
    Dark Horse: William Lipton, GH

    YOUNGER ACTRESS:
    Will win: Chloe Lanier, GH
    Should win: Victoria Konefal, DAYS
    Dark Horse: Hayley Erin, GH

    GUEST PERFORMER:
    Will win: Patricia Bethune, GH
    Should win: Thaao Penghlis, DAYS
    Dark Horse: Thaao Penghlis

Was it ever revealed what was submitted for Writing & Directing?! I’ve been looking at the different threads in the forum and can’t really find anything.

Perhaps we’ll get some clues as to what was submitted from the clips that (hopefully) are shown when the awards for those categories are presented. What I found particularly odd is that, B&B (as the only half-hour show in the group of nominees) should’ve been allowed to submit four episodes (not just the two that we know of) for drama series consideration. Hopefully, we’ll still get word on what the other two episodes are.

Re-reading this thread none of us predicted well this year. This was my personal worst Emmys ever in terms of predictions, getting only 2 right (I got 6 right last year). The highest number was 4 right from anyone on this thread. Not one single performer I was rooting for won, and there were only imo two worthy winners (Erin and Bethune). For me they lost all credibility with this year’s winners.
