I’m glad more people got to know her because of Captain Marvel, but I think she’s changed a lot since then, conceited a little bit.

I used to be a huge Nicole Kidman fan.

Love so many of her movies: Dead Calm, To Die For, The Portrait of a Lady, The Others, Moulin Rouge!, Dogville (my favourite and should have been Oscar nominated for this), Rabbit Hole.
Also like her as supporting in Lion and Boy Erased.

But I can’t stand her in Big Little Lies, Being the Ricardos and The Northman (how come her character didn’t age a day from the opening scenes to when Alexander Skarsgård is an adult?).

Just find her incredibly hard to watch now and don’t enjoy her performances anymore.

I think this is a very unpopular opinion to have, but there it is.

I would be more nuanced than you about Kidman but I get what you mean.

I wouldn’t say I currently dislike him but I used to be so impressed by Jake Gyllenhaal’s acting ability and most of his role selections but I haven’t liked him in any of the projects he’s done in the last three or four years or so (since ‘Wildlife’) other than his performance in the monologue/play, ‘A Life,’ which was coupled off and on Broadway with Tom Sturridge performing the monologue, ‘Sea Wall.’
