Best/Favorite Best Picture winner of the 30s (1930-1939)???
Next up, the 20s, which are onky two BP winners (1927 and 1929), amd i may re-do the 90s.

Could Sunrise be a possible choice for the 20s poll since it won Unique/Artistic Picture?

We’ll see, anyway my answer is Gone With The Wind, very easily.

Obviously can’t vote for it because of the apostrophe (GoldDerby, please fix this!), but I’ll go with You Can’t Take It with You. Alternatively, All Quiet… would work, too.

The ’30s are similar to the ’10s in the way that they were bad decades for winners; none of them are really good/great films.

I picked It Happened One Night – excellent film and one of my favorite best actress wins!

p.s. I would have picked The Wizard of Oz if it would have won instead of Gone with the Wind. Gone with the Wind is great until after Atlanta burns. I understand it’s an adaptation but it gets very ‘soap operish’ in the last half.

I went for ALL QUIET ON THE WESTERN FRONT. As for second place, I’d say IT HAPPENED ONE NIGHT.

I consider CALVACADE and CIMARRON to be the two worst Best Picture winners of all time.
