Rank The Best Picture Nominees: 95th Academy Awards Edition

Last year, I staged a mock Oscar contest here where I had commenters post their rankings of the Best Picture nominees as if it were a preferential Oscar ballots. I then took the ballots and counted and rearranged them, and ultimately The Power Of The Dog won the contest, with Belfast coming in a very close second.

This year, I’d like to repeat the experiment, and hopefully get even more people to participate. Between now and Sunday, March 5 at 11:59 PM PST, you can submit your ballot here. Please don’t submit more than one under your profile; if you need to go back and change your rankings, that’s fine, but don’t post your ballot multiple times. Once March 5 has passed, I’ll begin counting ballots, and then I’ll reveal the winner on Saturday, March 11, the day before the Oscars, with a full breakdown of each round of voting.

I’ll be posting my own ballot in a few days once I see Women Talking, as it’s finally coming to my area this week. But go ahead and start posting your ballots now if you’ve seen all the nominees.

Here are my rankings as well as the ratings I give each of them on a scale from 1 to 5. I don’t do 1 to 10 because to me, less is more.
