I haven’t seen Sydney Sweeney in anything else. Is her Olivia genuinely acting? Something tells me she has Essence of Olivia in all of her performances, please prove me wrong. I’ve given her the benefit of the doubt in my ranking above. She genuinely scares me.

Bill Hader and Barry in everything (2 babka)
The Great - Elle Fanning, Nicholas Hoult and comedy writing and directing

Sydney Sweeney has actually surprised me quite a bit in each of her roles thus far. For example in The Handmaid’s Tale she plays a young woman conflicted between abiding by the Gileadean rules and embracing her true self and in Sharp Objects she plays a very introverted character who is a self-harmer. She’s quite a versatile young thespian and I look forward to seeing what she does next!

Fantastic ensemble.

The top three are hard for me to rank. They were simultaneously funny and tragic and gave performances with real depth:

1 Jennifer Coolidge (Tanya)
2 Alexandra Daddario (Rachel)
3 Murray Bartlett (Armond)

Their roles were slightly less central to the story but damn if they didn’t act the hell out of what they were given:

They had slightly more one-note roles but were charismatic and entertaining:

They did their best with roles that were there just to represent something and didn’t have much of an arc:
