I didn’t separate people with multiple wins because I generally felt that their performances were pretty similar, and I also don’t totally remember well enough to distinguish. Preferred winners are only chosen from the other nominees because I just can’t remember well enough who was eligible where.

    S Tier (iconic, life changing)

    Regina King
    Sheryl Lee Ralph
    Julianne Nicholson
Matthew MacFadyen (I just barely preferred Kieran Culkin this season, but I’m certainly not upset that MattMac won)
    Jeremy Strong
    Annie Murphy

    A Tier (outstanding, really good)

    Kate Winslet (Michaela Coel)
    Catherine O’Hara
    Jennifer Coolidge
    Murray Bartlett
    Amanda Seyfried (Margaret Qualley)
Jean Smart (Quinta Brunson. Happy with her Season 1 win)
Zendaya (Melanie Lynskey. Fine with her Season 1 win)
    Lee Jung-jae (Jeremy Strong)

    B Tier (Good)

    Yahya Abdul-Mateen II
    Dan Levy
    Eugene Levy (Ramy Youssef)

B- Tier (Not undeserving but a bit forgettable to me)

    Uzo Aduba
    Evan Peters (Paapa Essiedu)

C Tier (meh. I really do not harbor the same hatred for Ted Lasso that some people do, it’s just not really for me. I don’t even begrudge them their wins)

Jason Sudeikis (Donald Glover. I’m fine with his Season 1 win)
    Hannah Waddingham (Hannah Einbinder)
Brett Goldstein (Carl Clemons-Hopkins, Bowen Yang)
    Michael Keaton (Himesh Patel)

    D Tier

Julia Garner (Sarah Snook, Rhea Seehorn)
    Mark Ruffalo (Jeremy Irons)

    Haven’t seen:

Any of The Crown actors (only seen the first three seasons)
Billy Crudup (even if I had I’d likely give this to Matthew Macfadyen)
    Ewan McGregor

Everything good gets moved to bloody games

    TOP TIER
Catherine O’Hara (Debra Messing) – still the top as deserved to win multiple Emmys even if she was my runner up for the final season
    Jennifer Coolidge
    Annie Murphy
    Kate Winslet
    Billy Crudup (x2)
    Dan Levy

    GREAT
Lee Jung-jae (Kit Connor – but Jung-jae was #1 of those eligible)
Brett Goldstein (Deserved for season 2, wouldn’t have nommed for season 1 where Nick Mohammed was my winner)
Tobias Menzies (OT Fagbenle) – high up still because he was my lead winner for season 3
    Murray Barlett (Jake Lacy)
    Hannah Waddingham (Renee Elise Goldsberry)
Jason Sudeikis (William H. Macy, Jon Pointing)
    Josh O’Connor (Billy Porter)

    GREAT
    Eugene Levy (Ben Platt)
    Jean Smart (Kaley Cuoco x2)
Regina King (Kerry Washington or Cate Blanchett)
    Michael Keaton (David Thewlis)
    Evan Peters (Malachi Kirby)

    TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT
    Julianne Nicholson (Keeley Hawes)
    Sheryl Lee Ralph (Sarah Goldberg)
    Jeremy Strong (Tobias Menzies)
Julia Garner (Meryl Streep, Patricia Arquette)
    Zendaya (Jennifer Aniston, Sarah Lancashire)
    Amanda Seyfried (Sarah Pauslon)
    Ewan McGregor (Joshua Caleb Johnson)

WEREN’T EVEN THE BEST ONE FROM THEIR OWN SHOW
    Uzo Aduba (Sarah Paulson)
    Olivia Colman (Billie Piper)
    Gillian Anderson (Erin Doherty)
