It would be awesome to see Clint Eastwood or Jake Gyllenhaal in one, because as far as I know they have never appeared in one.

You know, I was going to say Christoph Waltz before I realised that he was actually in one already – the unfortunate Epic last year. I think he deserves Pixar, Dreamworks or Disney, because he’s got such a soothing, hypnotic voice.

What is shocking to me is that Jack Nicholson and Al Pacino have never been in animated films, despite being film legends and having iconic voices. Their contemporaries (Hoffman, De Niro, Keitel) have all been in animated films.

For what it’s worth, Pacino was going to be the original voice of El Macho in Despicable Me 2 before dropping out due to creative differences.

If that wasnt Clint halucinated  in Rango, his voice would have been perfect.

It was Timothy Olyphant actually, but yeah, his Clint Eastwood voice is spot-on. It fooled my mother when she watched it.

    Colin Firth

While not technically an animated film, Firth will be voicing the animated character Paddington in Paddington Bear this year
