I agree with you … im too old to be fighting with a bunch of idiots about Lady gaga …
Or fighting with idiots who ignore all the times you make it crystal clear that it fine with other people disagreeing with you. If you’ve got any enemies, they will randomly nitpick the hell out of you, acting all morally superior while ironically claiming you are doing so, at least that’s how it has been with me. I envy you and your ability to stay out of drama in these forums. I wish I had that level of self-control to be honest. Take care and good luck with your predictions and your art.January 29, 2019 at 7:29 am #1202754088

I am re watching “You” on Netflix and my mom was like this sounds good. Me, knowing it will freak her out, doesn’t say a word. After the first episode this is what I hear: “How long are the curtains in the living room. I should get new ones. Change your password. Don’t ever let your phone out of your sight.”January 31, 2019 at 4:04 am #1202756380
Watch this please. Around the 5 and a half minute mark is when shit gets real. Watch the whole video though, it really builds up to something far deeper than I had anticipated.
I will just say that I HATE having to check a films IMDB score of Metacritic score before I see it as often as I disagree with those, particularly the latter, due to my not wanting to feel like I’m in a minority on liking or disliking a subjective work of art. I know for sure I’m not alone in that sentiment and I felt like I could relate to that point of Andre’s especially. He makes some other important points about social media and the way our culture is dealing with it, intense workloads, that I thought a lot of you could relate to or empathize with yourselves.January 31, 2019 at 7:59 am #1202756523
For those of you who miss Filmstruck (I do) — the Criterion Channel opened up signups for its subscription service yesterday. It launches April 8th, and if you sign up before then you can get a modest reduction on your subscription fee plus a 30-day free trial after launch. I would have posted this as its own thread on the forums, but didn’t want it taken down or seen as an ad (though if I were getting paid to do this it would be one hell of a deep cover).
I hope it goes well! I miss Filmstruck’s catalogue and I wasn’t even close to finishing my queue by the time it was taken down. I consider the offerings from Netflix, Hulu and Prime a lot lacking in comparison.January 31, 2019 at 8:15 am #1202756546
Netflix really is surprising me lately. Almost every movie I’ve watched so far I’ve loved.January 31, 2019 at 8:17 am #1202756547
I feel like I have more TV shows on Netflix than I do movies lately! And then I sleep on the TV shows because I automatically think it’s a better “investment” to watch a movie and get it out of the queue than sit through a show so they just accumulate -_-January 31, 2019 at 8:26 am #1202756558

Oh I do this thing every Saturday before SNL and I just watch a random movie on netflix. I have way too many shows on Netflix I have on my list that I haven’t watched yet lol. In the middle of the first season of Death in Paradise.

For those who haven’t heard of Fredrik Knudsen, I definitely recommend subscribing to him on YouTube. He does these documentaries that are really gripping and even moving at times. Check out this real-life nightmare I learned about from his video. Pretty disturbing stuff.

Who can help choose the most reliable antivirus for Windows 10? I use the Internet a lot and play games.
I swear by Norton 360. Don’t do regular Norton Antivirus, which is indeed good but doesn’t do as much. 360 is easily the best and has made my life so much easier. Saying that I have a windows 8.1 but my friend has a windows 10 and swears by it tooFebruary 2, 2019 at 4:53 pm #1202759344
I spent the past hour singing Baby Shark for a child. And doing most of the dance. My cousin is lucky that he is my little buddy because no other kid will get that.
I can’t help but admire your commitment to your cousin’s happiness. Really cool of you, I admit even I would not do that.
