I created this thread in this forum because the movie forum lovers are the ones I’m familiar with.
News of the covid-19 pandemic comes up every minute. I’ve seen heartbreaking images. I’ve seen pictures of a deserted New York, troubled Italy, horrific China and all others. Thousands of people have died already. I’m in Nigeria and I can tell you for free that we highly troubled despite the low rate of reported cases.
Real life feels like a movie right now.
To everyone on here, I hope you’re all safe. How are you coping?
Just know that I love you all

You may only leave your house for one form of exercise a day and to do essential shopping. All work apart from Key Workers must work at home. I’ve been at home now for 2 weeks, bored out of my mind. Can’t wait to stream new season of Killing Eve in a couple of weeks. Currently watching Stranger Things.
All GCSEs and A Levels have been cancelled. Schools likely shut until September. On Thursday our whole country stepped outside our houses and gave a massive applaud and make loads of noise for our amazing NHS who have been working so hard for our country.

March 28, 2020 at 6:00 am #1203398117I live in Paris, and it’s also pretty messy here. We are prohibited from going out and if you get caught you pay 135€. Never thought we could live in such scenario, it reminds those stories about plague, like in 500 people will be talking about us and how coronavirus killed people. Anyways be careful y’all!
sad times. Real life feeling like a movie

This will end but the end is still far away.April 2, 2020 at 3:36 am #1203406004I’m in Russia. Our government, as always, does nothing for citizens. No one knows the real amount of people who have this virus, because our hospitals don’t give these tests to people instead of those who are already very sick. In addition, the government has banned private hospitals from doing these tests, also hospitals don’t even have enough masks and gloves, but the fucking criminal Putin sends equipment to the US to rise his rating, and he declares HOLIDAYS for one week, not a quarantine. But many people are so poor that they’re not able to stop working or collapse a business for a month, they just can’t afford it. No one will pay their salary. This does not apply to employees who work for the state, so most people live as they used to. Educational institutions are not so technological as to switch to distance learning. Most elderly people in Russia watch tv and do not realize a real threat of the virus, but they were recommend to stay at home. We have a better situation in Moscow, but I can tell you for sure, this is just the a beginning for out country, and we are definitely not ready.

it’s worse in Nigeria. We have the most corrupt government in the World. Citizens are crying. Salaries aren’t even paid.
