My school was awful and only had like 5 AP classes but I managed to take AP Psych, AP European History and AP English Literature. I did well in all of them but it was a pain in the ass that they overloaded you with work with the claims that college was going to be 500x harder and they were trying to prepare you for it, then I actually got to college and had less work to do there in most classes than I had in AP classes -_-

Took more than I needed when I thought I was going to be pre-med, which lasted like 1 week into college.

My school had IB classes, not AP. I did IB history and chemistry

Yes, I took Calculus AP and English AP in my senior year of high school.

“Solo: A Star Wars Story”: See it, burn it, or ignore it? Why?May 26, 2018 at 2:32 am #1202554111
Ignore it for now – it looks pretty trite and I always have a hard time sitting through Star Wars movies, excluding the two best ones. If it gets nominated in any category I’ll have to see it of course.
Were you surprised by the Morgan Freeman allegations? Why (not)?May 26, 2018 at 3:01 am #1202554112
I was and still am shocked and devastated, but looking at him personally I guess I shouldn’t be that surprised. This hits me about as hard as Spacey, another actor I really loved until we knew what we all know now.
I think Freeman is a gross dude who always played some version of himself, but was in enough great movies like Shawshank and Million Dollar Baby and was a warm and lovable enough screen presence that it made me overlook his limited range as an actor. Now, there’s no overlooking shit. I’ll never forgive this guy, both for treating women like objects and for making me feel awkward any time I watch or see a clip from The Shawshank Redemption in the future. To answer the question, YES I was surprised because he seemed like such a warm and decent person from all I could gather. I am surprised, but more sad than anything else. 🙁
Note to myself: Don’t ever feed the trolls. Don’t get involved in others drama. Don’t let myself be swayed by others predictions, trust my gut more often!
Note to all others: If you don’t happen to like me, ignore me. It is that simple.May 26, 2018 at 6:27 am #1202554156
…I just learned a couple hours ago. It honestly just completely shocks me someone like Morgan Freeman could do what he did to those people. I guess if Freeman can be accused of shit, we have to hold a microscope over possibly ALL men in Hollywood, if someone as respected as Freeman could be accused of such depraved behavior. Who’s next? Tom Hanks? Ian McKellen? Denzel? DDL?
Anyways, Freeman was a pretty lacking actor anyway. He was unable to eke out much complexity in his Oscar nominations aside from Shawnshank. So I guess good riddance?
Which side is more cringeworthy; the embellishing anti-SJWs or full on psychopathic social activist characters (I say characters because they really seem to be playing characters – the SJW display is all a show)?May 26, 2018 at 9:33 am #1202554199
I’m a psychopatic social activist SJW myself so of course I find anti-SJWs more cringeworthy.
In all seriousness: the people you call psychopathic SJWs come from a place of human decency. As ridiculous as their actions and rhetoric may sometimes seem to you, at least it comes from the idea that all people should be equal and no-one should be bullied or oppressed. They are for human rights for all, whereas anti-SJWs are against human rights for all, which is not only cringeworthy but plain wrong.

Who is your favourite Seinfeld character? Why?May 26, 2018 at 11:23 am #1202554249
George because he’s the funniest (kramer is very close) and the most relatable to me.

Elaine. She’s the character with the most layers. Also one of the most profoundly feminist characters in television history.
