The original and later incarnations are all trolls who should be permanently banned.

I’m going to see it for sure.

Who is more likely be nominated for an acting Oscar: Martha Plimpton or Bobby Cannavale? Why?

    Bobby Cannavale.

My guess: It has to do with generally more opportunity.

Grammy. Oscar. Tony. Emmy. That was the calendar order of their completion here in 2019. Please rank them, for whatever reasons (like with the awards’ outcomes and/or the ceremonies), from 1 to 4. (Thank you!)

    1. Emmys – Great winners across the board, but a shit show
    2. Grammys – ROTY/SOTY wins for Donald Glover were historic
    3. Oscars – Great show and solid winners

    *Don’t really follow the Tonys

    1. Oscars: Still the gold standard of awards shows in my book, and the one I’ve followed the most. Will always watch it regardless of circumstances.
    2. Tonys: The live performances are thrilling to watch and highlights of my year, like I imagine is the case for most Broadway fans and non-NY’ers.
    3. Emmys: The telecasts can be hit or miss, and its history of repetitive winners is disappointing. The inspiring wins keep me watching.
    4. Grammys: Worst telecast, worst voters, too few televised awards, too many unnecessary performances, worst production values, and on and on.

Who would you say is the biggest living movie star in the world? You can only name one person.

If we’re taking into account all aspects of what makes a movie star big – bankability, critics / awards recognition, acting chops, longevity, worldwide popularity, control over their career choices – it’s probably Leonardo DiCaprio. This is admittedly a rather West-centric view though.

Scarlett Johansson. She’s an accomplished action star and dramatic actress and she has a high amount of celebrity. She has a certain untouchable quality that makes for a movie star.
