Let’s continue the conversation from Part 46.

    The question of the moment:
Who would you say is the biggest living movie star in the world? You can only name one person.

The biggest living movie star in the world is Leonardo DiCaprio.

Same question for the next lovely user to answer.

    Tom Cruise.

What’s the first album that you’ve ever owned? Do you still like it?

Avril Lavigne’s “Let Go,” when I was an edgy af in elementary school. It still slaps, 100%.

The first album I remember buying with my own money was Billy Joel’s An Innocent Man. I still think it’s a stellar record.

    Same question.

No Doubt – Tragic Kingdom. Yes and it’s a classic.

Let me preface this with the fact I was a odd 6 year old.

Beverly Hills 90210: Songs from the Peach Pit……Just gonna put the track listing here so you can see what we are dealing with in 1996.
“Devil with a Blue Dress On & Good Golly Miss Molly” – Mitch Ryder & The Detroit Wheels
“You Really Got Me” – The Kinks
    “Satisfaction” – Otis Redding
“Knock on Wood” – Eddie Floyd
    “B-A-B-Y” – Carla Thomas
“The Beat Goes On” – Sonny & Cher
“How Can I Be Sure” – The Young Rascals
“Friday on My Mind” – The Easybeats
“Mony Mony” – Tommy James & The Shondells
“Pick Up the Pieces” – Average White Band
“What You Won’t Do for Love” – Bobby Caldwell
    “Slow Ride” – Foghat
    “Strange Way” – Firefall
“Please Don’t Go” – KC and the Sunshine Band
“Beverly Hills 90210” Theme – John E. Davis

And yes I still like it.

Britney Spears Greatest Hits: My Prerogative, or Oops! I Did It Again, I had both of those, I can’t remember which I got first. Yeah I still like them, though I no longer blast them in my room and “dance” around like a maniac.

I think it was Thick as a Brick and Rubber Soul.
But the very first album I had was Ravel’s Bolero. Yes I still love them.

Now that it’s mid October favorite 3 films you’ve seen so far?

I’ve still barely seen anything but so far it’s Parasite, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, and Toy Story 4 in that order.

On Halloween night, nothing out of the ordinary, it’ll just be another day for me. That weekend I’ll be partying and getting fucked up.

What are your favorite performances of the year that have absolutely no chance at getting any awards attention?

It’s hard to say if a performance has *absolutely* no chance at *any* awards attention, but these performances probably won’t be getting a lot of traction even though they would deserve to:

    Elizabeth Moss, Her Smell
    Florence Pugh, Midommar
    Jessie Buckley, Wild Rose
Jonathan Majors, The Last Black Man in San Francisco
    Julianne Moore, Gloria Bell
    Donald Glover, Guava Island
    Beanie Feldstein, Booksmart
    Kaitlyn Dever, Booksmart
    Emma Thompson, Late Night
    Mindy Kaling, Late Night
    Samuel L. Jackson, Captain Marvel
    Winston Duke, Us
    Elisabeth Moss, Us
