Someone took my answer—Frances McDormand in Fargo (1996).

I’ll offer another one—Vivien Leigh in Gone with the Wind (1939).

    Same question.

    Two part question.

What is your favorite music genre and why? Also, what is a music genre that people would be surprised you listen to?

It’s concrete proof that the Recording Academy is a collective group of old, stodgy, rich white men intent on protecting the status quo at all costs at the expense of this newly ousted female chair. Sad state of affairs.

Update: The Grammys situation as evident by last night was just a mess all around.

    Thoughts on this year’s Grammys?

Well, just to keep things rolling, I’ll answer this question. I wasn’t going to, because my answer is lame, but nobody else seems to want to do it.

I frankly don’t think or care about the Grammys, beyond my predictions. There.

Question for the next user- how would you rank these performances, from best to worst: Colin Firth in The King’s Speech, Daniel Day-Lewis in Lincoln, Eddie Redmayne in The Theory of Everything, Matt Damon in The Martian, and Gary Oldman in Darkest Hour?

All good performances, but I would rank:

    Oldman
    Day-Lewis
    Firth
    Redmayne
    Damon

If we assume that Zellweger, Phoenix, Dern, and Pitt are the frontrunners for the acting Oscars, who is at most risk (even if it’s only slight) for an upset?

Throw a dart as their possible vulnerability seems close to zero.

    Meh. I’d say Phoenix.

Sorry for forgetting to ask a question. I’ll do the same question.
