    Greetings!

I some of you know, I run my own horror movie blog where I conduct the yearly Fright Meter Awards, honoring the year’s best in horror.  I have conducted the awards for quite some time and though they aren’t as prominent (yet) as I would like them to do, they do have a niche and I have interviewed nominees winners and the award has been featured on a few DVD cover arts for films that have won.

Anyway, I announced the 2011 Fright Meter Award Nominations yesterday:

I had some small initial problems with ‘Attack the Block,’ but the more I think about the more I really liked the film. It’s such a strangely delightful take on battling aliens, and hilarious to boot. I need to watch it again.

I really need to see ‘I Saw the Devil.’ I’m definitely checking out a couple of other films that received nominations except maybe ‘The Human Centipede’….I feel I’m too squeamish for that despite my high tolerance for seeing disturbing things.

Hey, Troy!! I love when you do these Fright Meter Awards! I especially loved your mentions for Hayden Panettiere and David Tenant, the best parts of each of their respective films. I found both ‘Fright Night’ and ‘Scream 4’ to be entertaining diversions and not much more, but I thought Panettiere and Tenant were the best things in them and worthy of the mentions.
