First off, I really want to see their mugshots. Secondly, they deserve the book to get thrown at them. Jail time (although that likely won’t happen), community service, fines. The whole nine fucking yards. As for their careers, it’s going to take quite a long time for Felicity to get her career back on track. She had so many things that she was doing or about to do, and I have to imagine that most of things will be going away. Macy has Shameless, so he can coast on that for a while unless he gets into legal trouble as well. Loughlin has Fuller House, but that show’s almost over. Is her presence really needed all that much? I don’t think so.
I know he wasn’t indicted, but there’s no way Macy didn’t know about this. He and Huffman are extremely close. She had to tell him about the bribes.March 14, 2019 at 5:04 pm #1202816839
I’m not sure why everyone is so surprised, if I am being honest. Rich Americans committing dubious acts: what’s new?March 14, 2019 at 7:29 pm #1202817043

If you read the indictment, Macy was in the room when his wife was talking about the payments on the phone to the ringleader.
Having said that, the only thing that surprises me about the story is that Lori Loughlin is extremely rich. I didn’t know her husband is the same “Mossimo” of Target’s Mossimo brand. They must be making bank because no way do Hallmark movies and Fuller House pay the bills.March 14, 2019 at 7:51 pm #1202817059
I mean, yeah, it probably wasn’t on her priority list even before this scandal. But as fans of her work, a few people on this board were predicting her (and rooting for her) for “Central Park 5” before this happened. As someone who was blown away by her work in “Transamerica” and “American Crime” (and loved “Housewives”), this scandal still comes as a shock. Not surprising, but shocking.
Totally… actually I still don’t understand what’s going on… I mean… WTF RICH PEOPLE?Marcus Snowden (The Artist Formerly Known as msnowden1)ParticipantMarch 16, 2019 at 1:01 pm #1202818747
Huffman and Loughlin deserve everything thy get, but this plaintiff looks hella greedy by suing them for 500 BILLION DOLLARS. No one on Earth has that much money.March 16, 2019 at 1:16 pm #1202818764

That’s what I was thinking when my brother told me about it last night lol. No judge would grant them that amount of money, much less be able to. Plus, I highly doubt that Huffman and Loughlin’s daughters were the specific ones that kept her son from getting into Harvard or wherever. Individuals with outstanding grades and extracurricular activity and whatnot get denied from Ivy League schools all the time.April 17, 2019 at 10:02 am #1202856684
Disappointed in them. I wonder why nobody asks Marcia Cross and Eva Longoria about their thoughts on this. I saw Joely Fisher and Nicollette Sheridan commenting on this but not Felicity’s best friends?April 18, 2019 at 7:46 am #1202857804
I think people are way hard on them. Well, mainly Huffman. Loughlin deserves what she’s getting since she crossed the line by pleading innocent. But Huffman, I mean, yeah it’s a crime, and it should be paid by them, mainly because I wouldn’t like to be the person that failed to get into uni not because I didn’t deserve it but because someone else paid to get my spot, but it’s not like Huffman killed anyone. Still, not saying they shouldn’t pay for the crime.May 30, 2019 at 12:50 pm #1202916738
Lori Loughlin has been sentenced with 40 years in prison. Yikes. It’s not finalized yet though.May 31, 2019 at 5:51 am #1202917665
But in all seriousness: She isn’t going to be there for 40 years. I feel like she will get the Teresa Gudice treatment (who TECHNICALLY should have gotten 25 years) and it’s going to get knocked down to like maybe 10 to 20.Marcus Snowden (The Artist Formerly Known as msnowden1)ParticipantMay 31, 2019 at 6:02 am #1202917676
I’ve said numerous times that Loughlin and her husband deserved to have the book thrown at her. However, I feel like 40 years is way too harsh a sentence.May 31, 2019 at 7:24 am #1202917816
I doubt she’ll get 40 years (honestly she might get 40 hours). I’m not going to excuse white collar crime (which is underprosecuted) but 40 years? I’d rather see her pay for kids’ tuition for the rest of her life (which would be a fitting punishment). Brock Turner and her should’ve switched judges lol.Marcus Snowden (The Artist Formerly Known as msnowden1)ParticipantMay 31, 2019 at 8:03 am #1202917853

She could always serve the 20 years for both charges concurrently with parole eligible after 10. That way, Loughlin doesn’t have to die in prison.
