Wasn’t sure if it was more suited for this thread or the music forum since its not exactly a name people would know. Thats why I said “not exactly national politics”.

President Trump’s 1st Year in Office an ECONOMIC MIRACLE: All Time Stock Market Highs – Most Jobs in History – Highest GDP Ever

Nobel Prize-winning economist and New York Times columnist Paul Krugman predicted the U.S. economy would never recover from a Donald Trump presidency.  He also declared “if the question is when markets will recover, a first-pass answer is never.”    He said a lot more, but it’s boring and wrong.  Mark Cuban and many many others said the same and they were wrong, too.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained well over 25 percent for the year. It broke records unprecedented in history. It has only achieved these level of returns fifteen times since 1921, and several of those years followed major corrections.

And since Trump was elected, 2.2 million jobs have been created.

It should  be a Happy New Year,  I wish it for all of us

    Speaking of Lock Him/Her Up

Trump’s Executive Order Readies Guantanamo Bay For Clinton Mafia
POTUS needs a place to lock up all the swamp creatures he’s about to drain. President Trump’s recent executive orders seems to prepare Guantanamo Bay for a new influx of seriously corrupt criminals.  Here’s hoping it happens.

In the month of December, the unemployment rate for black Americans dropped to just 6.8 percent, which is the lowest ever recorded. Prior to this month, the previous record was 7.4 percent in 2000.
The government has been tracking unemployment by race for 45 years, since 1972.
The Hispanic unemployment rate remains at a near record low of just 4.9 percent, up just a bit from the record of 4.7 percent in November of last year.
White unemployment sits at 3.7 percent, while only 2.5 percent of Asians are unemployed.
The overall unemployment rate is just 4.1 percent.

The Rasmussen poll, one of the most accurate of the 2016 presidential election, shows Trump at a pretty healthy 45 percent approve, 53 percent disapprove. Better still, the president has been in the mid-forties going back to December 22.

A booming economy, ISIS pretty much destroyed without us having to add a single boot on the ground (that we know of), regulations slashed, energy production and exploration booming, superb judges in record numbers confirmed, a stock market zooming to highs that seemed impossible only a year ago. Black, Hispanic, and overall unemployment sit at record or near-record lows.

Philippe Reines, a longtime adviser to Hillary Clinton who worked with her in the Senate, the State Department and in her presidential campaign, spoke before interns to give his insights on the current political climate.

    Ten interview aired on CSPAN.
Reines told the students he was worried millennials might become Republican if they notice they don’t have to pay as much taxes.

“I hope millennials don’t fall into a lull. God knows how many of them will see their taxes go down and base it just on that… ”

Yes. It would be awful if young millennials notice how much they get to keep of their toil and sweat with Republicans in office.
It makes it harder for the Democrat-Socialist lies to sink in.

When you lower taxes and regulations it often jump starts the economy but then an under-funded government starts to buckle and a lack of regulation leads to Wall Street and the business sector making dangerous, risky moves. If trickle down economics and lack of regulation worked George H.W. Bush would have been re-elected and George W. Bush wouldn’t have left office with an economic disaster under his belt. It works for a little while, why wouldn’t Wall Street improve if you give those jackals everything they want, but then it stops and often stops dramatically.

It is tragically amusing that Progressives have embraced the Hijab,

while female protesters in Iran have discarded their Hijabs.

The Hijab is an aspect of repression, and women given the freedom to choose,  quickly trash  this mysoginistic crap.

I don’t know if that is true.

Mormon women still wear sacred underwear.

Hasidic Jewish women still shave their heads and wear wigs.

A lot of fundamentalist Christian women and girls only sideways hug, not even a normal hug or a kiss, before marriage.

It is not only Muslims that seem to be living in the past with their traditional roles and customs.

I just wanted to add what my friend who ended up becoming a Brother posted the other day. We are Roman Catholic but major difference between us besides the clothing thing is he takes the Bible very seriously and actuallt goes to Church where I only go one maybe a handful of times a year.

    Do Not Wear:
Any dress or skirt that does not completely cover the knees when sitting or standing
Skimpy shorts, in fact, shorts of any kind
    Beachwear
Dresses and tops that are tight-fitting, provocative, low-cut, bare midriff or sleeveless
Dresses or tops with spaghetti straps, with plunging necklines, that expose the bare shoulders or bare back, or that are see-through
Dresses or skirts with high slits
    Flashy clothing
    Jeans
    Leggings
    T shirts
Any outfits with large logos or distracting messages
Flip flops, sneakers or beach sandals
    Can wear:
Modest tops, dresses or skirts. You can view a collection of gorgeous, feminine and modest apparel that you can buy, all in one place HERE
Any pants should be avoided for traditional Catholic ladies; and if YOU MUST, wear dress pants, NOT jeans.
    If you want to:
Chapel veils – covering of the hair for women in the presence of the Eucharist is done out of respect for Our Lord.

    Imagine no religion,
    It’s easy if you try.

    Emancipate yourself from mental slavery

    Lennon and Marley…

The problem is that most people are stupid,
and they are believers. You cannot have an open rational dialogue with a believer, as they already know the truth.

In 1989 the corporate tax rate was at 34%.  Things have changed now.  In 1989 there was no ISIS, no mass migration, no 911 and no Homeland Security.  Do you remember?  It was a different world.

In addition George W. never made a decision on his own.  Anybody who could say

“The vast majority of our imports come from outside the country.”

” It isn’t pollution that’s harming the environment.
It’s the impurities in our air and water that are doing it. ”

-“Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we.”

“The problem with the French is that they don’t have a word for ‘entrepreneur’.”

“I don’t have the foggiest idea about what I think about international, foreign policy.”

does not have the faintest clue about what’s going on.  George was (still is) a funny guy, but no policy maker…please.

In December, ADP Services reported the largest number of new manufacturing jobs in history – 40,000!
In President Trump’s first year in office the goods producing jobs – construction, manufacturing, etc. – were up 600% over the previous year.
Economist Charles Payne announced this development on Varney and Co.

Hussein Obama did everything he could to destroy America, and he failed, and Hillary tried (not hard enough) to continue his legacy, and she failed, thank the Gods.  The crash Dimocrats are hoping for is not happening…four more years plus.

The only downside is the GOPs pathetic attitude towards marijuana, and that will have to change.
