Speaking of Kanye West, Kim Kardashian is meeting with Trump at the White House to discuss policy. Can someone PLEASE get me off of this ride?

Kim is trying to do a great thing by getting a pardon for a black grandmother who was imprisoned for decades for non-violent drug crime.

Do your research before judging a story solely by its tabloid headline. Lives are at stake here and it is a very good thing to see a celebrity like Kim to use her influence to help out less fortunate people.

“How Joe Rogan Enables Right-Wing Nonsense In The Worst Way Imaginable”

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fTpQ5FZivpg

I completely agree with this, Joe Rogan has lived in his “intellectual” bubble of bigots, misogynists, and “free speech” (as long as its their speech, of course) hypocrites and weirdos. I always feel good when I see someone hold him responsible for his own actions in enabling those creeps. You could argue he isn’t directly endorsing every horrible and insane thing people like Ben Shapiro, Jordan Peterson, or Steven Crowder have said, but by letting them on he is complicit in those assholes continuing to gain massive fan followings, which are cult-like in their blind loyalty towards their toxic right-wing voices.

“Trump ‘could pardon himself over Russia but won’t’, says Giuliani”

    https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-44348991

If you’re still weirdly in denial about the Trump campaign having colluded with the Russian government to defeat Hillary Clinton and get Donny elected, so yourself a favor and get your head out of the sand. Collusion should be so painfully obvious by this point yet so many Trump fanboys remain oblivious to the facts, that I honestly think even if Trump did pardon himself his crazy supporters would still be convinced of a deep state conspiracy to frame the guy.

By the way, this is my 10,000th post ever on Goldderby!

Really a great article to post. Will anyone actually vote for this creep? Hopefully there will only be a few out there.

Soros Cries Globalist Tears Over Populist Victory in Italy
Billionaire elitist George Soros is devastated about the victory of an anti-globalist populist coalition in Italy.
Last week, Matteo Salvini’s right-wing Lega party and the populist 5-Star Movement struck a deal to form a government, defeating an audacious attempt to install a pro-EU technocrat as Italy’s Prime Minister.
This prompted a tumultuous reaction from globalists everywhere. Given their policy platform, it’s abundantly clear why globalists like Soros are terrified of the populist coalition’s success.
    The 5 star/Lega alliance wants to;
    Deport 500,000 illegal immigrants
Disincentivize migrants from attempting to reach Italy in the first place
Re-assert Italy’s Catholic identity while registering and monitoring mosques
Address Italy’s plummeting birth rate by offering free child care for mothers
End sanctions on Russian and work with Moscow to fight Islamic terrorism
Move away from the neoliberal model of globalisation and monopoly capitalism
Movie towards a possible exit from the euro and the European Union.

The success of the populist coalition would blaze a trail for other European countries to follow suit, starting with Sweden, which has national elections coming up in September.

As a researcher (relational databases are awesome) I am particularly fascinated by ‘trends’, and the trend right now seems to be anti-globalism and pro-populism.
IMO George Soros is a very bad man, and I hope to outlive him so I can piss on his grave. (not a fan)

Poll: Key Midterm Voters Don’t Know Who Leads The Democratic Party
Just five months out from November’s midterm elections, voters in competitive battleground districts don’t have a clear idea of who leads the Democratic Party, a new poll reveals.
When voters in those key districts were asked who the party’s leader is, the most popular answer was, “There isn’t one,” according to a CBS/YouGov poll released on Sunday.
Forty-five percent of midterm voters say Democrats are leaderless, the poll found.
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer received 16 percent of the vote; House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi received 15 percent; and Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders 13 percent.
Seven percent named former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton as the leader of the party, while another four percent listed someone else.
The poll was conducted over May 24 – 30 and has a margin of error of plus or minus 1.6 percent.
We’ll see how that works out for the Blue Ripple.

    “The Progressive Challenge That Wasn’t”

    https://slate.com/news-and-politics/2018/06/dianne-feinstein-crushes-kevin-de-leon-in-california-senate-primary.html

This pretty much sums up Kevin de Leon’s (who I voted for) crushing loss to Dianne Feinstein this primary. As relieved I am he made the Top 2 and not some Republican or Democrat with no name recognition and political experience, I must admit his loss was so gigantic that it feels like Feinstein has already won re-election, even though both will be on the ballot competing against each other in November. No amount of deserved Feinstein criticism from de Leon’s campaign will realistically be enough for him to overcome such an overwhelming frontrunner. Sad but true.
