How about Jussie Smollett?  What a star of the Anti-Trump movement.  Except that according to Chicago Police, Jussie Smollett is now officially a suspect in a criminal investigation for filing a false police report.

Chicago Police Spox: Jussie Smollett is now officially classified as a suspect in a criminal investigation by #ChicagoPolice for filing a false police report (Class 4 felony). Detectives are currently presenting evidence before a Cook County Grand Jury.  The Osundairo brothers were spotted entering a grand jury room around 3:45 PM CT, however it is unclear if they are actually testifying.

Subpoenas have been issued to obtain records from Jussie Smollett, reported ABC 7 reporter Rob Elgas.

The hate hoax began to unravel after it was revealed two Nigerian brothers, who were also extras on Empire were paid $4,000 to stage the attack.
On Wednesday, CBS also obtained surveillance video of the Osundairo brothers buying “supplies” from a store before the fake MAGA assault on Jussie Smollett.
Sources told CBS News that Jussie Smollett told the brothers what to buy and countless phone calls were placed for this.
Red hats and ski masks were among the items purchased by the brothers.
The video shows the brothers placing various items on the counter as the cashier rings up their order.
Jussie Smollett’s indictment appears to be imminent.

I called that one!  A real Hate crime which may actually be prosecuted.

Nick Sandmann Sues Washington Post for $250 Million over ‘Defamatory’ Coverage

Attorneys for Covington Catholic High School student Nick Sandmann filed a lawsuit against the Washington Post on Tuesday, seeking $250 million in compensatory and punitive damages.

In a tweet Saturday, Wood announced via Twitter that he would begin filing defamation lawsuits against several news outlets this week. “Nick Sandmann is 16 years old has 2+ years to identify accusers sue them,” he said. “No member of mainstream social media mob who attacked him should take comfort from not being sued in initial round of lawsuits which will commence next week. Time is Nick’s friend, not his enemy.”

The Post “ignored basic journalistic standards because it wanted to advance its well-known and easily documented biased agenda against President Donald J. Trump.”

Nick Sandmann is 16 years old and white and a Christian and wears a MAGA hat and attends a March For Life event..the horror!

https://fivethirtyeight.com/features/bernie-sanders-2020-democratic-nomination-kickoff/ Bernie is in. As is a lot of people…..but truth be told as of now i feel like Harris, Warren, and him are the ones to watch. BUT, COME ON BIDEN! JUMP IN ALREADY!

Right, let’s include Creepy Joe, the child molester, in the mix, he will fit right in.

Man Confronts Joe Biden: ‘Why Did You Molest All Those Girls On CSPAN?’
Creepy Uncle Joe gets called out during New York event.  A Philadelphia man confronted ex-Vice President Joe Biden at an event in New York last month over his inappropriate touching of young girls.

Howard Caplan attended the Global Institute of Long Island University’s event featuring speaker Joe Biden and took the opportunity to call the former Vice President out regarding viral videos showing him groping young women.
“Why did you molest all those girls on CSPAN?” Caplan shouted.
He continued, “It’s all on YouTube. You know you did it, everybody’s seen it!”

We don’t have to worry about Joe though, it looks like Bernie is seriously at it again…6 million in 24 hrs.  Maybe Bernie burns the Dems.

    Justice for Jussie?

Empire actor Jussie Smollett was charged Wednesday with disorderly conduct for allegedly filing a false report with the Chicago Police Department about a purported attack on himself last month.
Police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said the Cook County State’s Attorney’s office approved the charge, which is a Class 4 felony that carries a possible prison sentence of one to three years. The actor could receive probation instead of jail time, said Guglielmi.

‘Thanks For Nothing!’: Times Square Billboard Blasts Ocasio-Cortez Over Amazon Deal

A giant digital billboard in Times Square is calling out freshman Democratic New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for her supposed role in sinking the city’s deal with Amazon. The billboard, paid for by business advocacy group the Job Creators Network, details just a few of the things New York may have lost when the deal went sideways.

    25,000 lost NYC jobs

    $4 billion lost wages

$12 billion in lost economic activity

Forbes addressed the ways the failed deal could ultimately hurt New Yorkers in an article published late last week. According to that article, even the “first order” effects of the deal’s failure could prove devastating to New York.
From a purely economic point of view, Amazon was expected to generate $27.5 billion in tax revenue over a 25-year period, 9x the $3 billion government incentives offered. Anyone arguing that $3 billion was an overly excessive offer accidentally chased out $24.5 billion from the city. And that is just the first-order effect.

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio also took issue with dimwit Ocasio-Cortez, claiming Sunday during a segment of “Meet the Press” that she didn’t understand how the deal was supposed to work, and her lack of understanding coupled with her vocal activism had cost New York a great opportunity.  Total dumbass, great for Republicans though.

None of that overrides the fact that the people of Long Island City did not want the headquarters in their neighborhood, which should be (and, thankfully, was) the premier deciding factor.

A solid majority of New York state voters support the $3 billion deal to bring Amazon to Queens — especially minorities, according to a poll released Tuesday.

The result: 56 percent of voters statewide approved, while 36 percent didn’t.
In New York City, 58 percent of registered voters backed the plan, while 35 percent were opposed.

Minorities were the biggest Amazon boosters.
Among black voters, 70 percent backed the deal while only 25 percent objected.
Among Latinos, 81 percent supported Amazon while only 17 percent were opposed.
Whites were in favor, 51 percent to 40 percent.

A solid vote for Bernie, right?  Hilarious, another person with the perspicacity of AOC.

Did you even read what I said? The people of Long Island City didn’t want Amazon is their backyard. That matters more than what the people of the larger city or state want.

Seeing everything first hand every damn day on the news and seeing and hearing all the people complaining in Manhattan from that area I can tell you that they were worried about rent going up and gentrification. It’s all I heard on the news for weeks. It’s a broken record over here with that shit. For example, the local mall by my house opened a starbucks and built a new housing building/appartment building was opened the same week. First thing out of people’s mouths: rent and gentrification

… are you arguing that skyrocketing rent and gentrification are not problems?

. Yes and no respectively. Rent being raised is bad. Saying that the area could use a bit of an improvement since every time it’s on the news it’s for drugs and shootings. If amazon opening there meant the area was cleaned up….I see no problem. For example the building they’ve built by the mall improved the area since it brought in so many people from Manhattan that are buying from the local stores and they improved the security/cop presence there and as a result they have caught a lot of drug dealers that wouldn’t have been caught before and they even cleanes the park there and are opeoning a pernicious adoption center and a Whole Food and a Burlington.

I am apologetic due to the fact that I failed to post that this part is solely from Long Island City, from the New York Post:

The people in the community were/are in favor of Amazon…so many other jobs are affected by 25000 new jobs…The service industries would have benefited enormously.  This was a major loss and I take no pleasure in it, very sad for New York City.

. Yes and admission is being nice and caring and loving and treating others like you would want to be treated. That’s kinda how it works to be a good person

I sincerely hope you are right.  My comment was purely Christian fundamentalist:

Pearly gates is an informal name for the gateway to Heaven according to some Christian denominations. It is inspired by the description of the New Jerusalem in Revelation 21:21: “The twelve gates were twelve pearls, each gate being made from a single pearl.”[1]
The image of the gates in popular culture is a set of large gold, white or wrought-iron gates in the clouds, guarded by Saint Peter (the keeper of the “keys to the kingdom”). Those not fit to enter heaven are denied entrance at the gates, and descend into Hell.  In some versions of this imagery, Peter looks up the deceased’s name in a book, before opening the gate.

I far prefer your interpretation, vinny.

    Pope Francis:

“The Lord has redeemed all of us, all of us, with the blood of Christ: all of us, not just Catholics. Everyone! ‘Father, the atheists?’ Even the atheists. Everyone!”
