I sincerely hope you are right. My comment was purely Christian fundamentalist:

Pearly gates is an informal name for the gateway to Heaven according to some Christian denominations. It is inspired by the description of the New Jerusalem in Revelation 21:21: “The twelve gates were twelve pearls, each gate being made from a single pearl.”[1]
The image of the gates in popular culture is a set of large gold, white or wrought-iron gates in the clouds, guarded by Saint Peter (the keeper of the “keys to the kingdom”). Those not fit to enter heaven are denied entrance at the gates, and descend into Hell. In some versions of this imagery, Peter looks up the deceased’s name in a book, before opening the gate.

I far prefer your interpretation, vinny.

    Pope Francis:

“The Lord has redeemed all of us, all of us, with the blood of Christ: all of us, not just Catholics. Everyone! ‘Father, the atheists?’ Even the atheists. Everyone!”

Catholic School all my life….and that was the consistent way of it being explained so I’m gonna stick with it lol. For all we know there is no gate….I’d like to think there is a giant gate where family members and friends greet you…..nothing against Saint Peter but I’d assume he isn’t the first person people want to see

And I hope there is the Rainbow Bridge of Nordic ‘myth’ where all your loved ones come to meet you, first your cats and dogs and horses and others who can outrun the humans, then the rest of your family…

While accepting his award for Best Adapted Screenplay director Spike Lee of “BlacKkKlansman,” Lee said Americans must “all mobilize” for the 2020 presidential election to “all be on the right side of history.”

“The 2020 presidential election is around the corner,” Lee said. “Let’s all mobilize, let’s all be on the right side of history. Make the moral choice between love versus hate. Let’s do the right thing.” Vote for Trump.

The hate from the Left is palpable.  Mr. Lee supports Love.  The Left embodies hate…

    IMO BlacKkKlansman is Best Picture.

Spike needs to see ‘Death of America’, the best documentary of the year.

I am against all imperialist corporate war-mongering political parties and don’t believe in the “left” and “right” labels. I won’t mobilize for Republicans or Democrats and will work instead towards a post-partisan future that is anti-imperialist. I will not ever vote or support ANY imperialist corporate war party candidate EVER and nobody should. Down with all political parties! Up with independent thought and throwing out all labels that divide us into “us” vs. ‘them”!

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) will reopen an idled Detroit engine plant, invest billions into five existing Michigan plants, and create about 6,500 U.S. auto jobs in a move reflecting President Trump’s economic nationalist agenda

Oh vinny, the cat haters of the world are not known for their compassion or heart, like Hitler and Mussolini and Genghis Khan.

Wow! Even CNN Admits Cohen Was Lying today in His Testimony

GOP Rep. Jody Hice of Georgia said former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen is the first person to testify in front of Congress after being convicted of lying to Congress.
Cohen appeared in front of the House Oversight Committee Wednesday to testify that President Donald Trump implicitly instructed him to lie to Congress about events relating to the Russia investigation. Hice ended his 5-minute line of questioning upbraiding Cohen and the Democratic chairman of the committee, Rep. Elijah Cummings of Maryland, for participating in something that has tarnished the committee’s reputation.

Cohen said he did not want a job in the White House.
Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump both refuted his testimony saying he was lobbying everyone for the Chief of Staff job. Even CNN had to admit Cohen was lying again about not wanting a job in the White House.

Cohen Was Congratulated For Being First Witness To Testify Before Congress After Being Convicted Of Lying To Congress.  LOLOLOL…

    Late termination of pregnancy

Late termination of pregnancy (TOP),[2] also known as postviability abortion,[3] or simply abortion[4] is a termination of pregnancy that is performed during a later stage of pregnancy. Late termination of pregnancy is more controversial than abortion in general because it results in the death of a fetus that is more developed and sometimes able to survive independently.

Abortionist: I Cut the Vocal Cord So The Baby Can’t Scream

Dr. Leah Torres, an OB/GYN in Salt Lake City, Utah, said that when she performs certain abortions she cuts the vocal cord of the baby so “there’s really no opportunity” for the child to scream. She also described herself as a “uterus ripper outer” because she performs hysterectomies.

Torres made her disturbing comments on Twitter on March 11, in response to a question.
As the tweets show, @ZarbaNotZorba asked Torres about the aborted babies: “Do you hear their heartbeats when you lay down at night? Do you hear their screams?”

Torres replied, “No. You know fetuses can’t scream, right? I transect the cord 1st so there’s really no opportunity, if they’re even far enough along to have a larynx.”

“I won’t apologize for performing medicine,” said Torres. LOL

The comments made by this miserable excuse for a human being are actually available on Google!   I have always been Pro-Choice. If you can live with killing your own child, so be it…not my business.  But killing a fully developed child?  That is murder.  The Left have truly left morality behind.  Evil

One of the worst elements of Obama’s career, which no one talks about, is that he voted twice for a bill that said, if there is a botched abortion, if the child emerges from the womb alive, it should be okay to kill the baby. We have elected a president – twice! – who agrees with infanticide        Nat Hentoff

Shameful behavior, which is so common to the Left it is expected.

Only 37 percent of people surveyed found former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen’s testimony in front of the House Oversight and Government Reform this week to be credible, according to a poll published Friday.
The results of the poll, conducted by The Hill-HarrisX poll between February 28 and March 1, suggested that the high-profile testimony of Michael Cohen would likely not have a big political impact for President Donald Trump.
The percentage of those finding Cohen credible was still higher than those that did not find him credible — 25 percent. But the plurality of respondents, 39 percent, said they had not formed an opinion of Cohen’s testimony.

ONLY 37% of people polled are completely stupid?  My estimate is more like 80% of people are incapable of critical thought…followers, believers, subjects, slaves, NPCs unfamiliar with research.  Why research when Jim Acosta will tell you what to think? or AOC? or Hillary? or Bernie? or Alinsky? or Marx? or Cher? or Apatow? or Rosie O’Donnell?

God Damn, this is getting stupider and stupider.

The Anti-Trump onslaught is really getting boring, and it is an insult to oneself to be ‘bored’…so,

    some real news

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has committed to helping the Philippines defend its territory in the South China Sea, as China continues to aggressively pursue its own claims to territory.
Speaking after a meeting with the country’s leader, Rodrigo Duterte, Pompeo reaffirmed that the U.S. would any defend Filipino forces under threat by China and invoked the two countries’ 1951 mutual defense treaty, which affirms that the two countries would come to each other’s aid in case of an “armed attack in the Pacific area” on either party.

And how about that Maduro asshole?  Shouldn’t someone kick his ass out of power?

Despite the fact that only 159 cases of measles in the US have been reported this season, the level of hysteria surrounding the disease continues to rise. A groundbreaking study published in the journal Clinical Infectious Diseases, looked at evidence from the 2011 New York measles outbreak and found that a vaccinated individual can not only become infected with measles, but can spread it to others who are also vaccinated.
