Actually my degrees are in Political Science and History, and every political scientist and historian worth their salt researches as many sources as practically possible. FYI, the BBC is as biased as any other acclaimed MSM ‘news’ source, and is no more valid than CNN or FOX or Reuters or the NYTs. When you are unable to string a coherent, grammatically accurate sentence together while calling someone stupid you end up looking the fool. Often I let it go, but your pedantic self-righteous arrogance required a response.

Excuse me Jan, I don’t know where or when you got your degree, but every political science professor today would tell you that out of of that list that you gave, BBC is the most trusted among them. In fact, it’s at the center of a very common graph that highlights media biases that most are supposed to study. They’ll also tell you that you may look at all news sources, but it’s so that you know where and how their biases are leaning, not to adopt said biases and place them as facts. The only grammatical error in my response to you was at most one run-on sentence (and even that’s pushing). Said “self-righteous arrogance” was clearly a dig towards you since it’s the attitude that you have displayed on this site. So, in addition to you needlessly twisting others’ words to suit your agenda (something you refuse to address), you have failed to prove anything actually wrong in what I’ve had to say and made a moron of yourself in trying to point out errors that do not exist.

I honestly don’t know how we wound up having an entire argument about media sources, when the origin of it was me calling you out for manipulating a Senator’s words. I’m going to stop responding since I’m only feeding your arrogance and I suggest you do the same because you’re the one looking like a fool, not me.

    Children voting

Democrats seem to be in trouble right now and it is a joy to see.  It’s one stupid idea after another, ie.   abolish ICE, open borders, the Green New Deal, impeach Trump.  Now Pelosi and others want to drop the voting age to 16.

A new Rasmussen poll released Tuesday shows only 17 percent of likely U.S. voters support lowering the federal voting age from 18 to 16, with an overwhelming 74 percent rejecting the idea.
The poll comes just days after House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said she personally supported the idea of 16-year-olds voting in federal elections.

The poll also shows 65 percent of 18- to 39-year-olds oppose lowering the voting age, 77 percent of those aged 40 to 64 do not want to see the voting age lowered, and 84 percent of those 65 or older say the voting age should not be lowered either.
The Rasmussen poll was a survey of 1,000 likely voters and was conducted between March 17-18. The margin of sampling error is +/- 3 percentage points with a 95 percent level of confidence.

Another resoundingly bad idea, so keep them coming Dems.

Nothing beats the Green New Deal for bad ideas, though…what a masterpiece of incmpetence…wait, abolish ICE, that’s priceless  LOL

    vinny,

here I thought you were a real person, not another self-important brainwashed snowflake,

or was it just peer group pressure?  You can’t be seen as someone who would deign to engage with someone who disagrees with the progressive agenda, can you?

‘slightly amusing’? Really?  Now that sounds a bit arrogant, and Heaven forbid you would be annoyed.  I have never personally insulted you and frankly I expected better from you.

. No offense but you have seemed to go deeper into the cultish trump world and before a certain time least I would be able to talk some sense into you but you literally became the walking/typing personification of Fox News and there is no way for any of Us to talk any sense into you now that u essentially made it like talking to a brick wall so what once was a really interesting conversation just sorta became “yeah he isn’t gonna get it so why bother.” Like i said have fun go nuts but I’m not here to debate you anymore. I don’t have the time nor the desire.

I don’t know Jan , but that is irrelevant, and odd.  I graduated from a fine Ontario university in 1973 after 4 incredible years.

    I love Oscar Wilde

Okay, I’ve learned you’re just too unnerving to not reply. You picking random statements and replying to try to prove that you’re smarter than you really are isn’t working. But then again, you’re obviously a troll: even the thickest person could tell I was saying that you aren’t up to par with what political science majors are learning, not that I actually wanted to know where you went to school. It seems I’m going to have to put you on Ignore since you don’t know when to stop and like Vinny, I don’t have the time for you.

Arguments are extremely vulgar, for everyone in good society holds exactly the same opinion. Oscar Wilde.

Clearly I do not ‘hold exactly the same opinion’  and I have been attempting to provide the truth to you (or Us, as you put it).  It is I  who am up against a brick wall.   Few people have the wisdom to prefer the criticism that would do them good, to the praise that deceives them. Francois de La Rochefoucauld

There I go again, pretending to be smarter than I am.

A new poll released by CNN Tuesday shows 71 percent of Americans are happy with the economy.

Overall, 71% say the nation’s economy is in good shape, the highest share to say so since February 2001, and the best rating during Trump’s presidency by two points. A majority give the President positive reviews for his handling of the nation’s economy (51% approve), and his overall approval rating has ticked up to 42% in the new poll. The 51% who say they disapprove of the President’s job performance overall represent the lowest share to do so in CNN polling since the start of his presidency.

About 7 in 10 Americans in the poll say they have more trust in the free market than in the government, up a bit from roughly two-thirds who said so in 2011, as the country was recovering from the Great Recession.

That was from CNN, so you know it’s God’s Truth.

These kind of numbers lead to re-election.  Almost 6 more years of freedom: freedom from globalism, freedom from socialism, freedom from the insanity of the Left.

Hopefully no one listens to Joe Biden.  He said, to paraphrase, only a Centrist Democrat can beat Trump.    Here’s hoping no one listens to Mr. Biden, particularly if you want a prosperous vibrant economy.

When Bill told Hillary to go to the Midwesr, she and her staff laughed at him. She could have won had she listened to him.  Imagining the USA under Hillary is a dystopian nightmare.

    Certainly not for obstruction:

“Mueller, curiously, offered no opinion as to whether the president may have obstructed justice throughout this long national circus. But Attorney General William Barr and his deputy quickly, and on sound principle, closed that window by pointing out the obvious: when there is no underlying crime or conspiracy, there is nothing to obstruct.”  (Kevin R. Brock)

Oh, I know, impeachment based on TDS.

    JUSSIE SMOLLETT

Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx “I believe that the outcome, him having to forfeit the $10,000, having to do community service, based on the allegations, and again the class 4 felony and no background, are an outcome that we could expect with this type of case.”

Jussie did his ‘time’, 18 hours, as community service. Jussie Smollett logged a total of 18 hours of community service over 2 days — with Jesse Jackson’s organization, the Rainbow PUSH Coalition.

    Jussie paid his fine, $10,000.

Both ‘punishments’ are proof of guilt.  Even an actor who is a hateful anti-Trumper with Democrat privilege has to pay a tiny price for his hoax/hate crime.

He would have gone to court had he been innocent.
