I felt like I threw my vote away. But ultimately i voted with my conscience. Watching the results trickling in is nerve wracking.

I just cannot believe anyone would vote for Mr. Carbon Tax…gahhh.

Hopefully this comes out as a minority government.

Apparently the Green Party has won their first seat in parliament! Congratulations Pook, your vote was not wasted after all.

I’m having a hard time believing it.

These elections looked as messy as the 2016 US Presidential Elections. You either have to support a terrible conservative with trash values (Trump/Sheer) or a Liberal/Democrat that shares your political views but has acted like trash in the past (Clinton/Trudeau).

We can be grateful that our snowflake embarrassment of a Prime Minister did not win a majourity government,

and minority governments are notoriously short lived.

    No Confidence vote, anyone?

The Conservative Party won the popular vote.  Sound familiar?

Try putting your passion on the shelf for just 2 minutes and look at the overall picture.
The Conservatives gained 15 seats and are once again the Opposition.
I’m not sure if gerrymandering is legal in Canada but they won the popular vote.
The cattle country provinces will NEVER vote Liberal. Not unless something happens to the tilt of the earth.
The bloc Quebecois took votes away from the Liberals. For a province who traditionally votes Liberal, this is remarkable. It worries me; but then they have a right to secede if the people wish it.

A minority government means Justin won’t be able to do whatever he wants without a counter balance. This imo is always good.

The NDP are the true “losers” here. Watch them ditch their leader asap.
And the People’s Party? Zero. Maxime Bernier is livid with anger and finger-pointing.

    Feel any better Bruce? lol.

    Absolutely.

Your tolerance of differing viewpoints is remarkable in these intolerant times.

There is a bright side to this election.  Now we will see if Trudeau can lead.  Will he be able to govern or will he fall in his first vote?

Three seats for the Green Party, three actual seats in parliament,  is awesome.

Billionaire left-wing philanthropist George Soros told the New York Times in an interview published Friday that China is a “mortal enemy.”

“I consider Xi Jinping’s China the worst threat to an open society,” he said of China’s president.   “We should recognize it: It’s a different system. It’s totally opposed to ours, diametrically opposed to ours,” he said. Perhaps to qualify his words, he added: “I’m not anti-Chinese at all. I’m just anti Xi Jinping.”

Though Soros told the Times that he expected the political pendulum to swing back to “globalists” (his word), and said he expected Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) to be the Democratic Party nominee (without endorsing her), his feelings on China are firmly in line with Trumps.

Soros’s words echo an op-ed he published in the Wall Street Journal last month in which he praised President Donald Trump’s policy of confronting China as a “great achievement.”re firmly in line with those of the Trump administration.

Although he is a despicable globalist, he is no fool.

    Hey LeBron, WOKE UP fool!

“Daryl Morey was right,” Shaq (the NBAs Great One) explained. “Whenever you see something going on wrong anywhere in the world, you should have the right to say ‘That’s not right,’ and that’s what he did.”

Fired FBI Chief and #NeverTrumper James Comey spoke at Politicon this afternoon in Nashville.

During his conversation with Nicolle Wallace from MSNBC he said he was moving to New Zealand if President Trump wins again.

Bad call, Jim, New Zealand has an extradition treaty with the United States.

Donald Trump Confirms Death of ISIS Leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi

“Last night the United States brought the world’s number one terrorist leader to justice, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is dead,” Trump said. “He was the founder and leader of ISIS, the most ruthless and violent terror organization anywhere in the world.”

Trump said that al-Baghdadi detonated a suicide vest as he was trapped in a tunnel with three children as American forces approached.

The military operation was conducted by American Special Forces Delta Force after it was approved by Trump, according to reports, after Al-Baghdadi was discovered by American intelligence in Syria’s northwestern Idlib province.

Trump said that he did not inform Democrat Congressional leaders about the Saturday raid, for fear of leaks that would endanger the troops in the operation.
“We were going to notify them last night but we decided not to do that because Washington leaks like I’ve never seen before,” Trump said. “There is no country in the world that leaks like we do and Washington is a leaking machine.”
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi reacted to the news of the death of the terrorist by calling for the House to be, “briefed on this raid, which the Russians but not top Congressional Leadership were notified of in advance.”

It was wise to keep the Dems, the greatest National Security threat,  out of it.

Former Obama national security adviser Susan Rice said she was “quite confident” that the Trump administration did not follow the “normal protocol” of informing President Barack Obama about the weekend killing of Islamic State (ISIS) leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.

They knew Obama would hit ‘contact Abu’ immediately, as would Pelosi and Schumer, and forget about Benghazi Hillary or any of the ‘Squad’.  How about leaker Schiff?  not in this lifetime, ok?

At last there will finally be a vote. House Democrats will vote on Thursday to establish the procedures for their ongoing impeachment investigation against President Donald Trump, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) announced Monday afternoon.

The development comes as House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA) faces pressure from House and Senate Republicans to bring the impeachment probe from out of the shadows.

The narrative will no longer be controlled by the likes of the Shiftless Leaker.

    The S&P 500 has gained 0,7% to 3043.18, a new all-time high.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average has risen 166.12 points or 0.6%, to 27,124.18, just below its all-time high.

The NASDAQ Composite has climbed 0.9% to 8,313.97 but remains just below its record high of 8330.21.

GDP growth is well over 2% and last quarter went to 3.1%.

Therefore, it must be time to impeach President Trump!

Compare the economy with the Obama years.
Are you better off—are all Americans better off — now than they were just three short years ago?

This is why he has a shot at a second term.
It’s his job to create opportunities for Americans. But i dont like how he’s doing it.
Our leaders act like they don’t like him, and yet they can’t WAIT to collude with him to further destroy what’s left of our boreal and rain forests. Who cares if he manages to kill the last ground owl in the world?
I hate it when he comes up here. I know he’s after our resources.
