Hawaii Democratic Sen. Mazie Hirono suggested during the Bend To Justice leadership conference on Tuesday that Democrats occasionally have trouble connecting with voters because they (Democrats) are too smart.

“I’ve been saying it at all of our Senate Democratic retreats, that we need to speak to the heart not in a manipulative way, not in a way that brings forth everybody’s fears and resentments but truly to speak to the hearts so that people know that we’re actually on their side,” she continued. “But we have a really hard time doing that and one of the reasons it was told to me at one of our retreats was that we Democrats know so much, that is true. And we have kind of have to tell everyone how smart we are and so we have a tendency to be very left brain.”

    Speaking of arrogant assholes

State Media: ‘It May Sound Racist,’ but Brazil’s Culture Is Inferior to China’s

China’s state-run Global Times expressed outrage Wednesday over comparisons between its economy and Brazil’s, dismissing Brazilians as lazy and insisting that, “it may sound racist,” but Brazil’s culture is too inferior to China’s to ever succeed with full development.

Under Communist Party leader Xi Jinping, China’s government has increased calls for the embrace of “traditional Chinese culture,” meaning a mixture of Han culture and Maoist communism, over other world cultures, including minority cultures within China like Uighur or Tibetan culture.

Chinese state media has increased the publication of articles arguing that Han Chinese people are more intelligent, harder working, and generally superior to others around the world.   It uses Brazil as an example of an inferior culture not worthy of joining the developed world.

Now that’s not very nice, is it?

Whatever you might think of the Bush dynasty’s legacy, no one can ever accuse the family of not showing class and decency.
And their sterling example of this, while saying goodbye to their beloved patriarch, has also served as an important reminder of just how awful the McCain family is.
Remember when Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) died?  How could you forget?
The funeral lasted longer than the first season of Cop Rock — something like nine episodes.

“The America of John McCain does not need to be made great again, because it is already great,” the hideous Meghan said. I mean, she really said that — at a funeral — her father’s funeral.
Everything about McCain’s funeral proved just what a shallow, grasping, insecure, and small family this is. Among other things…
    Publicly snubbing the American president.
Publicly snubbing Sarah Palin, his ever-loyal 2008 running mate.
Choosing pallbearers to take a jab at Trump.
Eulogies full of cheap-shot applause lines.
Funeral attendees applauding the mean-spirited partisanship as though they were at a rally.
John McCain’s funeral was twisted into something bitter and un-American, something disgraceful and petty. The New Yorker aptly described it as “the biggest resistance meeting yet.”‘

“Two ex-Presidents and one eloquent daughter teamed up to rebuke the pointedly uninvited Donald Trump, the New Yorker wrote, adding, “The funeral service for John Sidney McCain III, at the Washington National Cathedral …was all about a rebuke to the pointedly uninvited current President of the United States, which was exactly how McCain had planned it.”
What a disgrace, and every decent person knew at the time it was a disgrace.

President Bush’s funeral was classy, unifying, and loving. There were no cheap snubs, no axe grinding from the grave.
The Bush family’s simple and decent act of burying the hatchet with President Trump, their patriotic act of making the president (and by extension his supporters) feel welcome and honored at these services, that is true patriotism, and that is what American democracy is supposed to be about.

This is class.  The Bushs  have class.  Very cool.

Many countries have already announced they will not sign on to the United Nations Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration.

This agreement will take away the sovereign right to control borders.
    ** The United States
    ** Poland
    ** Estonia
    ** Czech Republic
    ** Austria
    ** Hungary
    ** Switzerland
    ** Croatian
    ** Bulgaria
    ** Australia
    ** Israel
These countries will not agree to the globalist insanity.  Add Lithuania and Latvia, and Justin better not sign, or he is really short term in Canada.

This is another insane globalist plan

John Mccain is an American hero unlike President Bone Spurs and is equally as classy as the Bush family. Then again compared to the fat orange blob that we have as President ANY past President is classier. Trump can stick to twitter, golf, and destroying the country….it’s ALL he is good at
