He was one of the most iconic and benevolent figures in
all of recent science fiction. A truly gifted performer, whose portrayal of
Spock entertained and affected millions of Star Trek fans over the last
    50 years, myself included.

His last post to the world read as poetically as one would expect from him:

“A life is like a garden. Perfect moments can be had, but not preserved, except in memory. LLAP [Live Long and Prosper].”

Thank you, sir. And take care.

^Damn, is that really the last thing he posted? That really gave me the chills. He had a good long life (no pun intended), and I hope he knew that he really left his mark.

    This news is devastating.

I adored Star Trek, and I am pretty sure 90% of that came from Leonard’s performance as Spock, arguably the most iconic science fiction character in history, perhaps?

I want to pay tribute to one of Leonard Nimoy’s greatest, but overlooked performances, in two episodes of The Simpsons, both time where he played himself. He is arguably the greatest guest show in the show’s history, and was absolutely amazing in that, in Star Trek and in everything he did (yes, including Three Men and a Baby

Live long and prosper in your legacy, Leonard Nimoy
