I am not complaining as I play by whatever rules I am given but as someone that used to gamble, beyond the gamble that is life itself, the points system is frustrating.
The winner is based on accuracy and then points so the strategy is to be very accurate and then get lucky with a long shot pick as in the short time I have been playing it seems you get a bunch of people tied at first for accuracy and the winner is the person that got lucky with a really long shot to get the points.
My frustration is that if you give points and odds my instinct is to play to get the most points. If you go to the track and hit 9 out of 10 betting on 1/10 shots at $100 to win and someone goes 1 for 10 betting $100 on each race with the one win bet being a 50/1 shot no one cares about you, the person everyone is impressed with is the person that won thousands of dollars, not the person that though they picked 9 winners actually lost money.
My suggestion is you have two winners in each contest to make this more fun plus I think it will bring in more players as there is a world of gamblers that love to gamble without really spending any money in contests like this and that also love the entertainment industry. That way you can either play for accuracy, boring as everyone picks the same stuff, or for points, more fun.
Life is short, watch more movies.
