This is really a nice place and I should have found it a long time ago. It’s nice to have a human contact, since after all Goldderby has a lot of meaning for a lot of us, even though at times we really disagree on something, don’t we?
I’ll keep it brief. I’m Marco, I’m Italian and I live near Milan. I’m 21 and I study History (Middle Age is my favourite period!).
I also have a deep passion for philosophy and, from very recent times, religion. I love art, and if I had to pick only one artist, I’d pick Egon Schiele. But I also adore Reinassance art and a lot of other stuff.
What else? My favourite tv show, not the best one, is Lost. I watched it from the very beginning, and I was very young at that time. Waiting for that day every week – a wednesday, maybe – when two new episodes were aired was really special. Other shows that truly affected me are Six Feet Under, Hannibal and Twin Peaks.
I am a film lover, and my favourite director is Werner Herzog. I watched more than 20 of his films, and he always destroys me – in a good way 😉 -. I also love Michael Haneke, which is probably the director I’d be if I were a genius. My favourite film, well, is Lost in translation. I think it has a special atmosphere which is impossible to describe by words, but that is very similar to one of my most recurrent moods.
Music is something very important in my life. Radiohead, not so many years ago, helped me shape my personality, in a positive way; they enriched me and keep doing it. I also love, as a genre, shoegaze, post rock, some prog-rock, indie rock when it’s well done and electronic music when it’s experimental and daring. I adore ambient stuff.September 21, 2017 at 11:15 pm #1202220772This post was found to be inappropriate by the moderators and has been removed.September 18, 2018 at 12:09 am #1202635581
