I love “Atonement” and it would have been my pick but I recognize the brilliance of other nominees. “Juno” is good but clearly the weakest.

It’s a cult classic now and should have won Best Picture, Best Director, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Cinematography (incredible) and Best Music Score (unforgettable).
Keira And James deserved a Best Actor and Actress nominations as well.
It’s really one of the best tragdy/love story ever put on film.

BTW each of adapted screenplay nominee in exception of pta has an oscar now

Still need to see a couple of things including the likes of Inland Empire, The Diving Bell and the Butterfly and Into the Wild.
