We have a tie for dishonorable title of Worst Film of 2011.
One of your choices is a comedy in name only starring an actor known for his gift with improv but in this case he came up short. Way short!
The other is a sequel to a series very much so hated around these parts. This only got five votes but those who saw it may have found it the worst of a weak series.

Sadly she missed out on the Oscar nomination though she was a nominee in the Goldderby Awards (and hey I voted for her).

Just missing the final Top Ten of 2011, though it spent several weeks in the Top Ten, is a best picture, directing and lead actor Oscar nominee that also won best picture from the Los Angeles Film Criticscs and Golden Globes. Its star may very well win best actor at the Oscars tonight and it is likely to win for its adapted screenplay.

Goldderby members send me their grades and I just average them. If you would have voted and given the film an A or A+ its grade would be higher. Eighteen Goldderby members sent me a grade for “Hugo” and the grades averages a 3.815 or basically a high B+. These are not just my choices, though I did give “Hugo” an A, but the collective choices of Goldderby members who took part.
