I don’t think a snub here means anything. Though the notable misses were obviously Shaileen Woodley, Jean Dujardin, Ryan Gosling, and Melissa McCarthy.
Guilty pleasure nom woudl be Colin Farrell and Andy Serkis in Supporting Actor, and Elle Fanning for Supporting Actress.
it’s noteworthy that they combined the categories now instead of the usual Globe pattern of Musical/Comedy and Drama. Woah.

Oranges and Sunshine fewer but more than NY/LA
Tyrannasourus is opening elsewhere this month,
Of course, none of this has to do with eligibility – for example, The Iron Lady is only going to open in NY & LA; same with Albert Nobbs, as well as other films that will likely be up for nominations.

HAHAAHA! Funniest thing ever.
Honestly…it’s a good thing these awards are early. That’s why I like them. I am so excited for this award season. I need some non-indie exclusive movie award nominations now. This’ll do for now.
ReplyCopy URLDecember 2, 2011 at 7:36 am #45428A friend pointed out to me that Rango is not listed among the nominees for Animated or Mixed Media on the official site. Oversight, or could they really have left Rango out??

Edit- I checked back several times during the day, and finally this evening the site has been corrected, and Rango is indeed now listed as an Animated or Mixed Media nominee. Phew! I couldn’t imagine that it would be snubbed.
