The 2nd worst film of 2013 is a sci-fi film starring an actor who ranks amongst the biggest box-office draws on the planet and is a two time Oscar nominee. Adding to the film’s prestige factor the lead actor’s wife is also played by a past Oscar nominee and the film’s director is a past nominee for best director and screenwriting… though he has not done anything very worthwhile lately.

The film also stars the the lead actor’s relatively talentless son and he has most of the screentime.

The Goldderby members’ choice as the 2nd worst film of 2013 with a D average grade of 1.607 is….

    After Earth

Your choice as 13th best film or in this case films of the year is a tie between two very different pictures. The first is a little seen German language film about the children of Nazi officials pretending to be Jewish to escape death at the end of World War II. The other is an Oscar nominee for best picture starring a past best supporting actress nominee as a mother trying to find the adult son she was forced to give up.

With a grade of 3.917 you choices as the 13th best film of 2013 are…
