Would it be possible to have The Wolfpack added to the documentary options? The film won the documentary grand jury prize at Sundance this year, was an indie hit over the summer, and is now available to watch on Netflix.

Gold Derby, i am begging you.

Please give it to Inside Out. You all know it deserves it.

Can we please make an inspired choice this year? And not follow the race?

    I’m begging.

Inside Out needs more support. Please add the film to Lead Actress (Poehler), Supporting Actress (Smith) and Film Editing.

Yeeeesssss!!! With the sole exeption of It Follows, I wholeheartedly support these FYC’s!!!

I wanted to put in Nicholas Hoult and Rebecca Ferguson too, on both my Ballot and FYC post, but you can only do so many.   🙂

Yeah, don’t test them – they are serious about deleting any post that has more than 5 FYC contenders on it. They deleted my list, which is unfortunate because I believe I had a very good spread of obscure and mainstream contenders there that I believed should be recognized.

But GoldDerby seems to be naturally reductive these days, where the idea of “less is more” reigns for some reason (I still don’t know why we have to limit our FYC choices – its not like we are asking for all of them to be added), but I digress – so here are my FIVE contender choices that I believe should be considered:

Melissa McCarthy, Rose Byrne and Miranda Hart in Spy
Lola Kirke and Greta Gerwig in Mistress America
Jacob Tremblay and Brie Larson in Room
    Colin Farrell in The Lobster
Harrison Ford in Star Wars, Episode VII: The Force Awakens
