Shocked by Fatima’s win for Best Film! I was hoping for My Golden Years or Standing Tall or Marguerite….

Thrilled by the wins for Arnaud Desplechin, Benoit Magimel, Rod Paradot, and Catherine Frot! (: (Wikipedia has a mistake in their Cesar award page; Ms. Frot won for Best Supporting Actress back for 1996’s Family Resemblances – this is her 2nd Cesar).

Mustang and Marguerite won 4; Fatima won 3.

Marguerite has a similar story to the upcoming Meryl Streep movie “Florence Foster Jenkins” –  it will be interesting to compare the two movies!
