It’s great that all acting winners return.

The Academy officials often get those four commitments on the night of their wins the previous year (while they have them in person and are excited).

They also ask that they do not make the circuit of presenting a bunch of awards the following year. It makes it less special on the Oscars if they’ve been seen presenting everywhere in the weeks before. DiCaprio only chose to do this at the Golden Globes (skipping the others). Larson was on the Globes and SAG.

It’s good to know but perhaps Globes and SAG do the same so maybe if someone sweeps, then it’s a full circuit as a presenter for that person. Thanks! 🙂

Interesting. That explains the apparently random presenters at the BAFTAs

I know you need to have popular performers present for the rating but it would be great to see some “older” former winners present…..for example if 2 time winner Gene Hackman would be willing to present…..Ellen Burstyn, Jane Fonda, Honorary Oscar winner Jackie Chan, etc.

Goldie Hawn is an Oscar winner so I am fine with that….hard to believe it’s been almost 50 years since she won! A reunion of winners Rita Moreno & George Chakiris (winners for “West Side Story”) would also be great and appropriate since a big musical dominates this year’s nominees.

I’m so glad Bernal and Steinfeld are getting themselves out there. McKinnon too. I cant wait to hear what she does. She is so funny. I am very happy for Bernal though. Je is a great actor, especially in Mozart in the Jungle, and I hope he can transition into America. He has the Zorro remake, but who knows how thatll turn out
