I’m rooting for a full Black Panther sweep since I know Isle of Dogs isn’t likely to win with Picture and Original Screenplay as its only nominations. These are some solid picks overall, but that DuVernay Female Director nod is really embarrassing. Like, “Charles Wallace” levels of embarrassing! Director should not have split gender categories in my opinion.

For your Goldderby Film Awards consideration: Isle of Dogs for every category, especially Music Score for Alexandre Desplat!
