    Why is it a joke?

I wouldn’t even engage. Dude needs to take it on back to reddit.

Wow, some weird stuff just happened. A tie for best song, Joker winning score over 1917 again, LITTLE WOMEN beating THE IRISHMAN for adapted screenplay, and Parasite just getting tossed in the trash once again.

The awards that Parasite lost were categories for wich it wasn’t the frontrunner. So it’s not that big of a deal.

    Why is it a joke?

Because in cinema and tv there always been women whom have contribute a lot more than all the 4 winners of these special award.

The Oscar needs to get rid of the preferential ballot so it can name a deserving movie as Best Picture again.

Hollywood is great, but come on, Parasite and Marriage Story are the screenplays of the year. Greta Gerwig winning for Adapted Screenplay is awesome though, I hope she gets the WGA.

I told you! Greta is coming for that Adapted Screenplay Oscar. OUATIH again? Cmon… Marriage Story and Parasite have FAR SUPERIOR writing.

OUATIH was always going to win Original Screenplay. Voters love Tarantino too much.

Little Women ain’t winning Screenplay though. Jojo Rabbit is.

But yeah, fuck the Globes and Critic’s Choice for how Parasite’s been treated.

    Fuck the Grammys

Joker is taking the Oscar for score and it will be well deserved.

And poor Thomas Newman will lose again LOL! It’s just sad at this point.

Lol the Critics Choice awards love a good tie. Remember back in 2003 when Day-Lewis, Nicholson and Williams all tied for Best Actor?

actually i think they had only 3 nominees and day-lewis and nicholson tied. williams was asked up on stage by nicholson and proceeded to say thanks for making him the loser or something like that. it was a pretty hilarious speech, as usually williams does. and having those 3 very different actors on stage were interesting lol

    I think she’s winning WGA.

Not sure if WGA or AMPAS will want to award a remake of a remake of a remake.

I’m starting to think Disney may be shut out of this year’s oscars, since Toy Story 4’s won 0 precursors and Into the Unknown is no longer the song frontrunner. Also Irishman will probably win Visual Effects. I guess that’s karma after how much they’re monopolized the industry.

Toy Story 4 won tonight and will probably win the Annie.
