I can’t decide where Fair and Balanced will be placed. I’m keeping it in drama for now, but I see a lot of people putting it in musical/comedy

Awkwafina in “Farewell” would in drama I believe, all of the initial reviews were about how she was fantastic in her first dramatic role.

My thinking is that if there’s even a little bit of comedy, It will be pushed in comedy section. Thats why I also put joker in comedy. Its about a failed stand up comic who becomes an evil mastermind. Even though its an drama, its gonna have comedic elements

Anything thats not a straight forward drama, ends up in the comedy section. Remember Get out and the martian.

depends on how confident they are with the movie, I mean just look at the number of comedy/musical-qualifying films nominated for drama this year

Annette Bening will probably be nominated for best actress in a drama. I think Kasi Lemmons has a decent shot at director of Harriet gets good reviews. Scorsese just had a big year not too long ago. I think Jordan Peele might get a nod too. He seems to be very popular with the awards people.
