Who are y’all predicting for animated? I’m stuck between… all of them. For some reason I don’t feel confident in Toy Story 4.

Yeah, it’s a hard one! I’m predicting Toy Story 4 because it seems to be the strongest film this season, but I’m torn between that and I Lost My Body. The latter just won on the East Coast, so I’m not confident in my decision…

I’m stumped as well. Think I’m sticking with TS4 here but not as confident with Oscar.

Won’t be long before they announce!

I don’t think The Irishman will win Best Picture. LA seems to like to be different from NY and NBR. Maybe they give Scorsese director and Pacino Supporting Actor.

Hollywood BP, Tarantino screenplay. Think Joon-ho gets Director.
    Or some surprises like NYFCC.

I think Antonio Banderas is a virtual lock for Best Actor. I’d love the LA critics to be even more radical and give all four acting awards (and director) to performances from foreign films.

After all the splits between these awards we have seen so far, I won’t be surprised if LAFCA would choose a totally different set of winners and contribute more to the shitfest!

I’m hoping it starts winning more stuff so then they realize it’s an actual contender for awards this year…

And going back to Animated, when did Spiderman become a front runner last year? Because right now I have no idea who could become front runner. I like all of them!!

Damn it, I missed my chance to predict in predictions centre, I’d been putting it off for ages and now it’s too late. Anyone know what time they start voting?
