Is your ballot set in stone or will you make any last-minute changes. I am still torn over those three short film races.February 4, 2020 at 8:49 am #1203329523

Same, I’ve been changing my predictions based on what others are saying about them as I’ve only seen Hair Love and Kit Bull. Right now I’m going back and forth on Live Action Short.
I’m also thinking of changing Documentary to For Sama and I’m bouncing back and forth on Adapted because I want to have hope for Greta.
Best Screenplay: Never Rarely Sometimes Always (Eliza Hitman)
Best Actress: Sidney Flanigan ("Never Rarely Sometimes Always")February 4, 2020 at 9:02 am #1203329540
Agree, I am still thinking about shorts. Tempted to go with St. Louis Superman but I havent seen it. But I think the reason why I thought it could be nominated is same reason why it could win.
Also Live Action Short is tough. I have Neighboors Window but apparently the couple I didnt see (Saria and a Sister) are good too.February 4, 2020 at 9:14 am #1203329561
I’m tempted to predict Saria because I have it at 100/1.February 4, 2020 at 10:45 am #1203329654

I’m actually predicting St. Louis Superman. The title just sounds right to me.February 4, 2020 at 11:10 am #1203329680
Probably only the shorts…and best picture, lolFebruary 4, 2020 at 2:42 pm #1203330001
Aside from the shorts and Documentary I think I’m sticking with what I have now. Every time I make a last minute change it seems to bite me in the ass. I should just stay confident in what I’m currently predicting and not get thrown off course by last-minute nerves and second guessing.

My ballot is set in stone. Im taking risks in documentry feature and song. Doc im going with honeyland and for song im going with stand up. Looking back on the recent history of best song, besides the 2012 oscars (the man or muppet song from the muppets), The movie that wins best song has earned atleast one other nomination. Harriet is the only movie in best song that has other nominations.February 4, 2020 at 4:10 pm #1203330088
I’m stuck between Jojo Rabbit and Little Women for Costumes, Parasite and Ford v. Ferrari for Editing and Toy Story 4 and Klaus for Animated…
I feel good about the rest of my predictions at this point.February 4, 2020 at 5:41 pm #1203330229
