It’s always nice to read amateurs thinking they got a point. Not that I care, but aren’t Close’s losses for FA and DL seen as ones of the Oscars biggest mistakes lol. I don’t remember anyone complaining about The Favourite going 1/10. People genuinely didn’t care about the film, so did the Academy.

LOL. Isn’t the actress in your avatar considered one of the worst BActress winners of all time?! Just a thought…

FYC Emmys: Helena Bonham Carter (Drama Supporting Actress), Olivia Colman (Drama Actress), Jodie Comer and Sandra Oh (Drama Actress), Fiona Shaw (Drama Supporting Actress), Zendaya (Drama Actress), Alexis Bledel (Drama Guest Actress)

That’s Sandra Bullock. But she’s a close third after Gwyneth Paltrow.

Does Karen Allen stand any kind of a chance? I was pleasantly surprised to see her listed on the Independent Spirit list. I hadn’t heard anything about that film. Would be cool to see Marion aka Karen have a career resurgence.

Maybe she could figure in some critic’s circle awards. Anyone see the film?

I know Gwyneth and Sandra were worse winners. I said Cher was considered ONE of the worst wins.

I cannot find her film anywhere outside of a few smaller film festivals, I’m guessing they lucked out by submitting it to the Spirits and having them actually watch it but she has a much larger uphill battle with visibility as opposed to potential critical darlings Woodard, Place, and Moss. I was only able to find about 2 reviews of the film online, they need to screen it for more critics because I’ve always been a fan of Karen Allen and she deserves a vehicle with more visibility.

I’d be thrilled to see that. I fell in love with her in Star Man, and worshipped her when she punched Indy in the face.

Hmmm, I certainly cared and so did many people on this site. It also didn’t underperform everywhere before the Oscars at least not entirely. It won seven BAFTAs and won two guild awards for it’s production and costume design respectively. And it’s loss for Original Screenplay is already considered a big mistake by the Academy.

Darlings, I’m already sick of these disgusting Oscar races. Disgracefully, voters will be sheeps and follow the bandwagon. In a fair world, the best performance of the year would win the dildo.

I was naively expecting a feeling of joy watching two great actors give two great performances.
Now I am sincerely hoping that someone comes in and blindsides both of them. Someone like RdN or Pryce, Banderas.

You sick cause divorcing Johansson or Tree isn’t winning anything. 😂
