Widows didn’t get great reviews though. Widows was such a terrible film. Queen & Slim looks more like The Hate U Give than Widows

Widows had a 91% on Rotten Tomatoes with an average of 8.1/10. It got great reviews.

Oscars 2020: I stan Joaquin Phoenix, Willem Dafoe, Alan Silvestri, and Dean Deblois.

Emmys 2020: I stan Logan Lerman, Olivia Colman, and David Harbour.

Tom Hanks and Amy Adams stan in general.

How? The movie might turn out to be a glorious flop.

Eva Green was not nominated for an Emmy for Penny Dreadful.

But she’s still going to be nominated and might win.

Apparently Streep may be Supporting in The Laundromat, and it’s being billed as a comedy – quite surprising on both counts, but I guess it gives Streep a bigger chance of winning.

She’s never winning an Oscar for a comedic role.

Kathy Bates for Best Supporting Actress (Richard Jewell)

Streep’s not winning another supporting Oscar either. Her #4 (if it ever happens) will be in lead.

Streep is also not winning a 4th Oscar over Dern (if she’s nominated), who the industry adores and who doesn’t have an Oscar to her name.

What are the contenders for production design? I have Cats, OUATIH, Little Women and Downtown Abbey so far. Is The Lion King eligible?

I didn’t know Glenn Close was erased from memory.

I think The Lion King is eligible, but it won’t get nominated. I would add Avengers: Endgame, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker or The Irishman to your list.

Cats is not going anywhere near the Oscars.
